“The kingdom of heaven is in fact within, but none of us really are taught how to get there.”

“If you think that the point of meditation is declaring your mind, you are always going to feel like a failure because the mind thinks involuntarily just like the heartbeats involuntarily.”

“We meditate to get good at life. Not to get good at meditation.”

“No one would leave their house without brushing their teeth because it's gross and rude. You should not be leaving your house without meditating because you're now then spewing your stress around everybody else.”

[23:00] Time Management

“I work with some of the busiest people on the planet and they're not meditating because they have extra time, right? They're doing it because they know it's going to improve their performance.”

“Stress is making us stupid, sick and slow. That's a hard pill to swallow because we're addicted to it”

“Ziva is so special that it's creating a trait change. This thing is actually healing you on a cellular level. It is changing your body and it's getting rid of all the stress from your past.”

“Step one in manifesting is we actually have to get the brain out of fight or flight. We have to get it into, stay and play,  start flooding the body with dopamine and serotonin.” 

“Moving from surviving to thriving is hard to do if you're exclusively approaching it through the left brain intellect.”

“I recommend  a stop gap between the meditation and the manifesting of gratitude."

"By gratitude, I mean, enthusiastic gratitude for what is, and if you can get to that, if you can get to genuine, authentic, enthusiastic gratitude for exactly what is, that's one click away from enthusiastic gratitude for what's on the way.”

"Meditating with your phone is like having an AA meeting in a liquor store. Why would you go into the belly of the beast?”

“It's based on something called niche,  karma yoga, which means union attained by action. What people find is that it feels kind of like a nap sitting up without the sleep hangover. And in just 15 minutes, it feels like you've had an hour and a half nap.”
