Description

In this podcast we are joined by Daniel Levy from Kidder Williams a Corporate Advisory firm providing Investment Banking services to private and ASX-listed companies, including:Corporate Finance StrategyMergers & acquisitionsDivestments and demergersCapital structureEquity and debt raisingsIPOsDaniel outlines his experiences where poor governance and amateur level finance preparation has resulted in significant changes to company valuation, and placed the entire deal in jeopardy. This again is another story where the key lesson is 'pay attention to details and accuracy. But as Daniel points out this can't be something that's done in the 3-6 months leading to the deal. Buyers need to start taking advice and preparing for sale 3-5 years beforehand. The Governance and finance practices outlined in Daniel's story are discoverable at Due Diligence so need to demonstrate long term consistency .
