Description

Drawing from the latest research and intervention, this course will address compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma in the COVID-19 era by introducing elements of Positive Psychology to help “rewire” the brain for happiness.  The curriculum will utilize research regarding burnout and concepts from the study of neuroplasticity presenting a rationale for rewiring the brain for happiness in addition to evidence based curriculum from Martin Seligman’s PERMA model, Christine Neff - self-compassion, and other concepts of gratitude, Angela Duckworth- Grit, Resilience and Well-Being.
