Today’s guest on the Bobby Podkazz is Natalie Rose also known as @wakeupandsmelltherosay on social media. She has grown an audience of over 92,000 followers on instagram and over 38,000 on Tiktok by creating extremely wholesome and helpful content filled with tips revolving around binge eating, body image, recovery mindset, and honoring your cravings. In this episode, Natalie courageously shares her own history with disordered eating in the past and how she found her path to recovery. She sat down with me to talk about how she got out of the binge-restrict cycle, the impact “wellness culture” on social media had on how she viewed food, and building a healthy relationship with shame and finding the root of where our shame comes from and how it correlates to eating disorder habits.
