It's certainly not an easy thing to do, especially if you're running your own one person scratch agency. Your path to insurance success is going to look completely different from everyone else you know. But the one thing that will be the same no matter what you do is your ability to consistently do the work. If that doesn't happen, you'll never find the success your looking for within the industry.
