    Ezra slept late. He wrote in the mornings, and usually liked to start his writing around seven am. But the night before his mind had been alive with his new story. That was the best way for him. If the story was keeping him awake, buzzing in his mind, then it meant he was living it.

    Most writers, most creators knew the best art was created when they lost themselves, their ego, to their art. And when they did, they became like God the creator.

    It was after ten before he had his first cup of coffee and breakfast. Then he went to his laptop to get down what he had imagined.

    It was early summer and the air was sweet with smells from the countryside. He could see the long hay in the paddocks which would soon be cut and harvested.

    The small cottage he had rented was perfect for writing. About as remote and quiet as anywhere that close to London.

    He knew the area well, as his father had grown up there. Hardly even the size of a village, just a few farmhouses,
