For Beginners - Three Cushion Billard Systems - Part 1 - System Master
WHAT IS THE BILLARD SYSTEM?
Three cushion billiard systems are systems used to increase the probability of scoring by giving certain points to the marks on the table and making shots accordingly. We can briefly explain it this way.
When scoring, the system you are using uses its own scores. This means that the marks on the table do not always have the same score.
Billiard systems have emerged to meet a certain requirement to score in the game. As you know, there are many different positions in the game and we need to produce various solutions according to the positions we encounter. The systems are used to increase the solutions we need and the possibility of scoring. The important thing to know here is that we cannot use the same system for every position. First of all, it is to determine the most appropriate system to use for the current position. Therefore, you need to know more than one system.
In this book I will try to explain the most important systems that you need to know in order to bring solutions to positions. And I will try to give you alternatives to the systems described for convenience in practice. The reason why I give alternative systems is that some players may encounter some difficulties in scoring and practice. For this reason, you can choose the most suitable system for you in practice.
By taking the marks on the billiard table and aligning them, we can precisely locate our ball, the second and third balls in the calculation according to the systems. In this way we increase the probability of scoring.
Finally, using the billiard systems, we can clearly identify the area where we will shoot and make our shot.
In addition, you can use different systems such as effect or no effect when making system calculations. You can also use with ball and Bank shot shots. No single system is used for all positions. You need to use the appropriate system to find solutions to the positions you encounter in the game. I have mentioned this before.
Although snooker systems vary, the calculation methods used to find certain points are the same and this is a general rule of thumb. Unless otherwise specified in the system. These are target, arrival and start points. I will explain in detail how these are calculated in a general way.
Also, if there is a change to these calculations at the beginning of each system, I will address that issue separately.
This book is written for beginners who are new to billiard systems and for those who feel that they have some deficiencies in terms of application. Therefore, the systems may seem simple for advanced players. Because the systems described include the basic systems that every player should know. I am preparing a separate book for advanced players in the next books.
STROKES USED IN SYSTEMS
There are some techniques that are generally used in billiard systems and are used for the system to be efficient. You need various stroke techniques when playing. Under this topic, we will discuss the stroke techniques that need to be known.
I will try to explain the techniques used in billiard systems. I will also discuss them in a more understandable way and with simple examples because players have difficulty in practicing. I know that technical explanations cause difficulties for players to grasp. The most commonly and generally used stroke in billiard systems can also be called a push or extension stroke. The second shot is the short shot. You can use it in systems that use with ball or bank shot.
The reason why the names of the strokes are long and short is due to the movement of the cue at the moment of the stroke. We will discuss these issues in detail in the following sections. The reason for using different strokes in billiard systems is very important to find solutions to the positions we encounter and to get efficiency from the system you use.
As it is known, the billiard game consists entirely
