eveloping shooting skill is about building layers. Safety is a blanket that covers all layers, but after that it’s game on. The first layers are the fundamentals. After that you build your skill set by developing and adding layers. It’s in the later layers that you should whittle away the minutiae, but it’s with the fundamentals that good shooters pull ahead of mediocre ones. Being able to lay a foundation of good fundamentals will help in the more progressive layers where inefficiencies can magnify themselves and cause bigger problems. Learning something
