About this ebook

Meet a character that struggled with his demons throughout his young, short life, and how conversations with his brother helped him to accept Jesus. In this short, 5,000 word, allegorical tale, you see how he processes overcoming his burdens and troubles in life, while you as the reader, get to sit and process with him. This is a tale of tragedy and saddness based on true events, but due to the good news of Jesus Christ, a man is saved and has hope that he will be reunited with his family and friends again one day.

    My Prayer

    Gracious Father,

I pray that you bless all that are struggling with addiction of all sorts. I pray they have the courage to seek and find you. Let them know that there is no need for shame and that through you they can overcome it. I pray that you reveal yourself to them in their dark places and that you can provide them comfort and healing. Help them to seek you.

I pray this in your son, Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.

    Introduction

This is a story that means quite a bit to me because of the topic and the main event that occurred in this story. The event that occurred is true. With that said, much of the story that surrounds this event is allegorical tale, but nonetheless, a happy, pleasing thought to me. This story is not meant to tackle the theology surrounding the story, but to provide you, the reader, with a tale of hope.

Without trying to give away too much of this short story, I encourage all that read it, to not just look at it for its’ theological aspects, but as a story of hope for those that struggle in life. There will be many theologically sound parts, but some of what the Bible teaches on some of the topics is scarce so I took some creative liberties. Life is not easy and no one is perfect. Yet, there is hope for everyone out there, and Jesus is waiting for you to come and see, just as he called the twelve.

When you read, please be open-minded on the contents of the story and pray that
