We are on our screens all the time. We check our phones first thing in the morning — whether it’s our text messages or even as an alarm clock. And we check it before we go to bed at night. Throughout the day, we are constantly distracted by tech, and it's something that's really, really impacted our lives negatively. Because there's this barrage of information and apps out there from dating apps, social media apps, email, etc.
It's so much information coming in all the time. It really reduces our productivity and impacts our mental and physical health, if it’s not used in the right way. And, unfortunately, using it the wrong way — being constantly connected to our screens — has become the norm. And I think it should be an exception — not a norm.
Ask yourself: When’s the last time you checked your phone? Whether it was your emails, social media, or any other app. Was it in the last hour? The last ten minutes? The last five?
For most people, the answer is probably pretty recent. Even if you’re not most people, I'm sure you can empathize with this problem of being
