    Productivity - ANGELA SPRAGGINS

    ANGELA SPRAGGINS

    Overview

Face it: maintaining a high level of productivity on a consistent basis is difficult—especially if you are running your own business from your house. If you've decided to leave your job in order to have more freedom and to live life on your own terms, you've made a wise decision. That is nothing short of incredible. This, however, introduces a new and additional problem. When you are self-employed or own your own business, you have complete control over your destiny... Nothing or no one will stop you or tell you off if you decide to spend the entire day watching YouTube videos. It is entirely your responsibility to complete the tasks at hand, and if you want to be successful, you must be motivated and understand how to maintain a high level of productivity on a consistent basis.

That is precisely what the subject of this book is. We'll show you how to be more productive in the following pages, covering everything from creating a productive working environment to everyday productivity tips and tricks that you can put to use right away. Let's get this party started. What is it about staying productive that makes it so difficult? As previously indicated, remaining productive is difficult, and the majority of individuals are not particularly adept at it. So, what is the underlying cause of this? Starting with the basics, being productive requires a great deal of consistency in one's approach to things. If you can be productive for the entire morning—or perhaps the entire day—a it's wonderful feeling. The question is, what about the next day? What about the following day? If you want to be truly productive, you must be productive on a consistent basis over the entire week. In order to accomplish this, you must make the most of each working day and prioritize your duties in order to ensure that the most critical tasks are finished on time.

    Organisation

One of the primary reasons many people struggle to maintain their level of productivity is a lack of organizational skills. A situation in which you are continually hunting for files and trying to obtain the proper information is not pleasant for anyone and can cause you to become significantly more inefficient. Neither your computer nor the surroundings in which you work are exempt from this rule.

The absence of a clearly defined strategy

When it comes to being truly productive, people know exactly what they need to do and when they need to do it. People who have difficulty being productive, on the other hand, approach activities in a haphazard manner. In addition, they aren't always clear on what they need to do and aren't always effective at prioritizing the most vital things to get done.

    Distractions

Undoubtedly, one of the primary reasons why so many people struggle to maintain their productivity is that they are continuously surrounded by distractions. Face it: there are numerous distractions in everyday life, whether online or offline, and removing (or at the very least lowering) these distractions is crucial to remaining productive. Distractions can be particularly bothersome when working in the internet environment. I'm sure we've all been in a position where these distractions became too much for us to bear. You come upon an intriguing YouTube video and decide to watch it before returning to your desk at the office. Your attention is drawn to yet another video at the conclusion of the first, and you decide to view it as well. A particular aspect of the film piques your interest, prompting you to run a fast Google search to find out more. The first thing you say to yourself is, Wow, I had no idea that was possible, before discovering a full resource on the issue. Then an email notification
