The Power of Productivity How to Use it to Achieve Your Goals - HENRY RUIZ
Introduction
Let's face it: staying productive on a consistent basis is difficult—especially if you run your own business from home. So, for example, you may have quit your job in order to have more freedom and to live life on your own terms. That is absolutely incredible. However, this introduces a new and additional issue... Everything is up to you when you are self-employed or run your own business... Nobody is going to stop you or tell you off
if you decide to waste an entire day watching YouTube videos. It is entirely your responsibility to get what you need to get done, and if you want to be successful, you must be motivated and understand how to stay productive on a consistent basis.
That is precisely what this book is about. In the following pages, we'll show you how to be more productive—from creating a productive working environment to everyday productivity tips and tricks that you can use yourself. Let's get started. Why is it so difficult to stay productive? As previously stated, staying productive isn't easy, and most people aren't very good at it. So, what is the reason for this? To begin with, being productive necessitates a great deal of consistent discipline. It's great to be productive for the entire morning—or even the entire day. But what about the following day? What about the next day? If you want to be truly productive, you must be productive every day of the week. This entails making the most of each working day and prioritizing your tasks so that the most important tasks are completed on time.
Organisation
One of the main reasons why many people struggle to stay productive is a lack of organization. If you're constantly looking for files and trying to find the right information, it's not a good situation for anyone and can really slow you down. This applies to both your computer and the environment in which you work.
Lack of a well-defined strategy
People who are truly productive understand what they need to do and when they are doing it. People who struggle with productivity, on the other hand, approach tasks in a haphazard manner. They aren't always clear on what they need to do, and they aren't always good at prioritizing the important stuff.
Distractions
One of the main reasons many people struggle to stay productive is that they are constantly bombarded with distractions. Let's face it: Everyday life is full of distractions, whether online or offline, and eliminating (or at the very least reducing) these distractions is critical to remaining productive. Distractions can be especially troublesome in the online world. I'm sure we've all been in a situation where these distractions get out of hand... You come across an intriguing YouTube video and decide to watch it before getting back to work. Another video catches your attention near the end of the first, so you decide to watch it as well. Something in that video piques your interest, so you conduct a quick Google search to learn more. Wow, I didn't know that was possible,
you think to yourself before discovering an entire resource on the subject. While you're browsing, an email notification window appears, informing you
