About this ebook

Choose you this day whom you will serve (Joshua 24:15). Every day, we are making that choice, whether we realize it or not, to live a life that reflects God or a life that reflects Satan. Whichever way we choose to live our life, at the end of that life comes death, then the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). You can believe this or not. The Word of God is faithful and true, and anyone's disbelief of the Scriptures cannot change it or make it become untrue. It only concludes one of two things: if you are right, then you did not waste any time; but if you are wrong, then the wrath of God lieth at your door, and hell will be your final "nonresting" place.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (John 3:36)

I pose the question to you: Where do you think you will go after you die? There is a place called heaven, and there is a place called hell, and you have the choice now to decide which place you will reside for all eternity.

I hope believers who read this book will become even further assured, through the Scriptures, that they will see their loved ones again in heaven; and those who do not believe will receive the clarity they need to know that there is life after death, and the decision for where they spend eternity is their choice.

    About the Author

To my husband, in our many conversations, your compassion for the unsaved continues to bless my heart. I was inspired to write this book to remind everyone there is life after death, and you can have peace when your life is surrendered to Jesus Christ.

    Chapter 1

    An Appointed Time

There is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. A time to love and a time to hate, a time of war and a time of peace, a time to be born and a time to die (Ecclesiastes 3:1–8). Every person has an appointed time when they will depart from this earth. This is our death date. Sadly, many are living their lives as though they could care less about what happens to their soul after death. If you see no need for a Savior who can cleanse, deliver, and save you, then you will see no need to repent and receive Jesus as Lord. However, whether you accept Jesus or not, after death, your eternity is determined by the decision you make.

You and I both know there are some who care nothing about God nor care anything about giving their life to the Lord. They only believe in the here and now and think that this is all there is to life; so why not eat, drink, and be merry? But there is something more, and when death comes, we will leave our body in its shell, and our spirit will leave to enter either heaven or hell. Many then will wish they would have taken the time to accept Jesus as Lord. Let me tell you now before your death date arrives, while you are still living and have breath in your body, you have time. However, if you like living on the edge and feel you can wait until you are on your deathbed before you call out to the Lord, then that is your choice. Even if you want to risk your soul by accepting Jesus at the very end of your life, God will still be right there. Although it is far better to call on Him while you are able because no one knows what state they may find themselves in at the end. If you are a split second past your death date, then you will be a split second too late.

For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them. (Ecclesiastes 9:12)

One thing that seems to bring everyone back to reality is death. We all know that when death happens to someone close in our life, this is the one time we remember how our life here on earth is not permanent. We start to think about what will happen to us when
