About this ebook

By law you will need a seatbelt to read this book, but, by the grace of Jesus Christ, you can leave it off!

With all of the end time talk these days it can almost make you want to give up. Maybe it's time to stop listening to what everyone is saying and see what the Word of God has been saying without contradiction for thousands of years. Inside this book we will take a step by step walk through the windows of time and learn why many predictions that have been made were never even possible to take place until now. With scripture after scripture you will see where we are on God's Clock and be able to stand firm on God's Word and NOT be shaken by others opinions ever again. I feel certain that even many believers will find this information astonishing and after a close study of the scriptures they will know that only a True and Living God could have provided His People with such an accurate road map in time.

Amos 3:7 Suerly the LORD God will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.

Ken Ayers grew up in Charles County Maryland durring a time when it was quite different than what it is today. Although for many years he had no relationship with the LORD and lived a life that was far from that of a Christian, when the time was right he found that the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob is still faithful to answer all of those that will call on His Name in their time of need.

Psalm 34:6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

May the LORD bless you and keep you!

    Introduction

Two times in the Word of God we are told a day in Heaven for the LORD is as a thousand years here on earth and a thousand years here is as one day there. The first time that we hear this is in Psalm 90 verse 4 and then the Apostle Peter repeats this, and in fact, Peter tells us to Not be Ignorant of this one thing in 2nd Peter 3:8. What is so important about the Lord’s way of keeping time that would call for the Prophets to lay this out for us in God’s Word and inform us to not be ignorant of this fact? We are going to take a step by step look into God’s Time-Clock and look at things from God’s perspective of keeping time and see why a thousand years are as one day for the Lord.

The Title of this Book comes from God’s perspective of looking at the Seven Year Tribulation that everyone, including Christian’s will soon face. Regardless of the false teachings that have fallen upon most believers today that they will somehow entirely escape these seven years that are quickly approaching, we will examine God’s Word for complete truth. Although we as Christians WILL escape the worst of God’s Judgments known as the Seven Vials in Revelation 16, God’s Word warns us of the troublesome times that we also will go through prior to these judgments and the return of Christ. Before you close the book in fear of what may be said, please let me fill you in on a couple of positive points.

First, I would like to explain the Title of this Book, "The Ten Minute Tribulation." If we were to break down the thousand years being as one day and a day as one thousand years we would come to the conclusion that seven years on this scale would be about ten minutes and therefore the seven years that the world will face in the Great Tribulation is but a mere ten minutes in the Eyes of God. Let me also say that God, having come in the flesh (1st Timothy 3:16) is also very aware of how a seven year period feels to us in human nature. The easiest way to come to this conclusion and understand God’s Clock compared to our clock is to break the day down into a twenty-four hour period.

    For Instance:

    (1 day) or 24 hours = 1,000 years

    12 hours = 500 years

    6 hours = 250 years

    3 hours = 125 years

    1 ½ hours = 62 ½ years

If we keep breaking down the one thousand years in this way, we soon come to the conclusion that seven years is about ten minutes in God’s Time. I think that this way of looking at things will help to get through the difficult times that are coming, as we realize how fast a seven year period in our lives can go by.

The second thing that I want to point out and quite possibly the most important, comes from the Book of Exodus Chapter 12 verse 13. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall NOT be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

We, as Christians are covered in the most awesome blood ever known to mankind. When we accept Jesus and His Sacrifice at the cross, we are covered by His Blood the same way the Israelites were covered and protected at the time of the Exodus. If the Israelites were protected from death by the blood of actual lambs, how much more today, those of us, that are covered by the Blood of the Lamb of God (JESUS). Running from the TRUTH will not change the Truth and it is very important to see what the Bible actually says to us and not what we might want it to say.

I have heard many different views about the much anticipated Catching Away (Rapture) of the Church PRIOR to the entire Great Tribulation. When you hear any information concerning the Rapture of the Church, please pay close attention to the Bible Verses that are used, IF any are used of course. Too many today just listen to what people say without ever checking God’s Word to CONFIRM what they are being told. The Prophet Hosea tells us in Chapter 4 verse 6, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge… I think it is very obvious that God will hold us accountable to His Word and NOT our beliefs.

I want to give you an interesting illustration of this straight from the History of the United States. I could go back to 1938 and the storm that rocked the East Coast at that time but I will just use a brief illustration from 1991. In 1991, after the Gulf War, President George H. W. Bush initiated a Peace Treaty known as the Madrid Peace Treaty. I truly believe that President Bush had good intentions as he moved towards a peaceful Middle East after the Gulf War, however; God’s Word says in Joel 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted (divided) My land.

Although the President may have done what he thought would be the best solution to peace in the Middle East, the Madrid Peace Treaty was nothing more than a contract to divide God’s Land and push the Jewish people out of the land that God gave them. On the same day that President Bush announced this treaty (Oct. 30, 1991), the hurricane known as the Perfect Storm was pushing what some witnesses said to be more than twenty-foot waves, crushing into the President’s home in the state of Maine. In fact, when the President returned from Madrid, he cancelled speaking engagements to inspect the damage to his home. I could go on with the damage of storms that came to the USA while President George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush were in office and all working on the Madrid Peace Treaty but that is not the subject we want to focus on for the purpose of this book. What we have is an example of how God will hold us accountable to His Word and not the good desires of our heart.

What you will see in this book is that God has used patterns ever since creation and given them to His Prophets and People to know what time it is on God’s Clock, regardless of the many times man has turned and twisted the hands of time.

Through the scriptures, not any man’s opinion, you will see where we are in God’s Time and how to determine when the Seven Years of Great Tribulation will begin and how much of it we, as Christians, will experience and best of all when to expect to meet the LORD in the air upon His Second Coming! Some may say to believe that Christians will be here for any part of the Great Tribulation is of little faith, but on the contrary, I believe it is of Great Faith in the Word of God. I believe that Christians will be raptured or caught-up when the Word of God says that they will be and NOT one second before. What many others seem to believe is that their faith will override the Word of God and that they will be gone regardless of what God says.

    •   1st Corinthians 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and NOT with meat: for until now ye were NOT able to bear it…

Paul had a strong desire to give Christians the deep things of God (meat) but found that it was very difficult to do so with many and instead, had to give them the easier things (milk). We are going to start out with what I would consider milk in the beginning of this book but I promise you there is some filet mignon waiting for you as we move deeper into it.

Please note that all scripture is referenced from the King James Version and all words bolded or in parenthesis have been added for emphasis by the writer of this book.
