To be clear. This book is a catalyst and alchemist’s guide. In a world clutter, cheap dopamine and a thousand I would have, could have and should haves, it took a decade of personal odyssey and countless conversations with thousands of men to distill a singular truth and process to press forward.
Over the past 10 years of my personal journey and professional coaching journey, I have spoken with thousands of men and in 2024 I am on track to speak with 20-50 per week in 1:1, group coaching, or at our events. I’m sharing that because I have developed this interesting pulse for people, especially men.
The marketing humble brag you want to achieve goals, change their story and get a new blueprint sounds sexy, and I struggled with that concept for years.
It’s just difficult. I have a lot of empathy for men who start down this path. I have even more empathy for the men who don’t turn back.
We are so focused on providing for others that we often compromise ourselves and don’t even realize it until it’s too late. I’ve also come to some realizations about what makes this feel hard for us in the beginning.
I served in the Marine Corps for several years. People know the Marines can deploy in every clime and place. I trained in mountain warfare, cold weather, desert, water, and jungle environments.
