The trip to the outhouse.

3 am, wind is howling outside, and branches are making noises up against the house, creating a horrible scratching sound. Particularly a squeaking sound against the windows, a tapping noise also can be heard.

Jeff, is slowly waking up due to the noises outside, he looks at the alarm clock, are you serious, 4 hours still to go, sheesh says Jeff with the annoyed attitude. He looks around the room to see the pet dog, Max, sitting up watching Jeff, as Jeff swings his legs around from under the covers and sits on the side of his bed.

Jeff looks over towards his wife Linda, she is very much asleep, very deep in sleep that she is snoring.

Typical says Jeff as he holds his face in his face, and rubbing his eyes.

He gets up and walks towards the door, Max follows, they walk through the hallway, to the bathroom, Jeff goes to open the door, the light is on and a little voice says I’m in here says his 5 year old daughter Maysie.

OK honey, I go outside, says Jeff.

He and Max, go towards the lounge room, through the lounge to the dinning area, where they stop infront of a large glass sliding door to the backyard.
