About this ebook

Hello children, mums and dads. Here's yet another volume of children's short stories and poems by Uncle John. This is volume 7, if you have read all of my other books, well done to you all. They are selling to children all over the world. I am introducing new characters into my books all of the time and will be with us for some time to come.

Granny knows best, is a new story. She is a 99 year old lady and she knows everything. All the people in the town go to granny if they need help of any kind.

I hope you enjoy all the stories inside and watch out for Stitches getting into trouble yet again.

Sweet dreams and happy reading children.

    Intro

    Hi children, mums and dads. I’m back again with more wonderful adventures. I have been told by many children I must keep writing these stories. You have no need to worry children, because I love writing these books for you, with new adventures from the characters you know and love. Stitches is of course the number one in all my books. He was created by Holly Bell from America. Holly has also created Bo, Petee and Sammy. She also did the artwork for them too.

    If you or your children have any stories or characters you would like to see in my next book, please get in touch with me at;

    I would love to bring your stories to life. Meanwhile: Let’s get on with the stories and poems.

    Stitches

    Drawing and character by Holly Bell

    Stitches was tucking into his breakfast as Tommy came running in from the hallway and shouted,

    Guess what Stitches; we’ve been invited to my granny’s house for tea on Sunday.

    Ohhh nice, said Stitches, Does that mean cream cakes and buns?

    Yes it does for sure, said Tommy.

    It was only Monday, so they had to wait all week before they could go. It was the longest week ever. Stitches kept asking Tommy, How many more days before we go to granny’s? Gradually the week went by and it was Sunday. Stitches was so excited because he knew there was nice food at Tommy’s granny’s house.

    Make sure you look really smart today, Tommy said to Stitches.

    I am going to look my very best, said Stitches.
