About this ebook
Blooming Crazy Love: Daily devotions revealing God's love to strengthen your faith. Book 2 in the Blooming Crazy Christian Devotional Series focuses on love. Loving unconditionally means you have to open your heart and become vulnerable. Vulnerable because you cannot love deeply without experiencing, trials and tribulations, loss and heartache, pain and suffering, joy and happiness. Jesus experienced all of these out of love for you. You need to be a bright shining light and follow in His footsteps, accepting the risk of heartache, and fulfilling your calling as a disciple of Christ.
In some devotions, you will bask in amazement at God's love for you, a broken sinner, undeserving of His grace. Other devotions encourage you to share God's love with others, no matter the cost, because loving others is what we are called to do.
You and I will experience some crazy love in this lifetime in many forms and fashions, but none as great as the Blooming Crazy Love of our Lord and Savior! Remember Jesus is love, therefore we must share love.
"We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters." (1 John 3:16 NLT).
Mary Rodman
Mary resides in Radnor, Ohio with her husband, Jim. Together they enjoy farm life, hard work, vacations, family and friends. She is a farm girl who discovered her niche as a Christian author and speaker. Mary loves sharing about the Lord through both her written and spoken words. Mary’s life is an open book as she shares her joys, struggles and embarrassing moments. As a Christian author and speaker, Mary’s objective is to point you toward Jesus. Her words are simple, and her examples are relatable, but when Jesus touches your heart it is amazing. When you follow Him wholeheartedly, and align your dreams with God's will, the outcome is life altering. The first goal of Mary’s ministry is to offer you encouragement and inspiration. She is a "seed planter." The person who sees a glimmer of hope in the small day-to-day routines of life. Therefore, the key verse for her ministry is: “When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.” (Romans 1:12). Once the seed of hope is planted in your heart, Mary motivates you to stay in God's Word to seek wisdom, and learn more about Jesus' amazing grace. “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking." (James 1:5). Mary’s prayer is that you have a personal relationship with our Redeemer, because when you Bloom with Jesus, you become a child of God who is cultivated for your beauty. This beauty does not happen overnight, it is a gradual change within your soul, because of your relationship with Jesus. For more information of God's grace, go to www.MaryRodman.com/gods-promises/.

Dedication
Idedicate this book to my numerous friends and followers. God has blessed me beyond comprehension through this writing venture. Every step I take and every book I release, each and every one of you are extremely supportive. May the words on these pages bring you encouragement and help you to love others like Jesus loves you.
If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. (1 Corinthians 13:1).
Foreword
Friendships today look different than they did twenty-five, ten, or even three years ago. With the invention of social media and cell phones, it becomes much harder to cultivate good friendships. Instead of spending quality time with your best friend over coffee, it is much easier to send a quick text or to like one of their posts on Facebook. Cultivating deep, meaningful relationships has given way to surface-level friendships that make truly connecting with one another difficult.
The book that you are about to read was written by someone who was sent to me straight from God – Mary Rodman. For the past twenty-five years, Mary has been there for me in the good, the bad, and the ugly. She takes the time to celebrate with me when I celebrate and cry with me when I cry. And when I need a gentle reminder that I have started to stray from my relationship with God, Mary is right there, pushing and challenging me to cultivate my relationship with our Savior. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty and put in the effort it takes to grow a strong friendship.
Mary has a unique ability to see God’s grace and blessings in ways that most of us would ignore. Even in the midst of the storms in her life, Mary is able to see God working and providing for her and her family. Throughout this book she challenges us to find God in the midst of every day, right where we are.
I pray that God will find you in the middle of these pages and speak to you, right where you are.
~ Angie Greenwood
Introduction
Blooming Crazy Love
What comes to mind when you read those words? Life deals us craziness at every turn, but in the midst of that chaos, God’s love can always be found. Seeing God’s love sometimes requires us to focus on the heart and not the incident. Our purpose in life is to channel God’s love to others and shine a light of hope into the world.
Love comes in various ways. Marrying the love of your life, or the birth of your children or grandchildren brings you a love that is like no other. Psalm 127:3 says, Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.
This type of love is a beautiful gift from the Lord that we must nurture and grow.
Friendships can sometimes be challenging and crazy, but a true friendship, as Angie described above, is based on agape love. A love that allows you to be open and honest with one another, even when it hurts. Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.
(1 John 3:18).
Then there is the greatest love of all. The love of our Heavenly Father. Once we experience His amazing grace and deep His love for us, we will never be the same.
These pages are filled with stories of love. Family love. Friendship love. Fatherly love. Stories of loved ones who have gone on before us. Life is full of love when we open our hearts and allow ourselves to become vulnerable.
Vulnerable because we cannot love deeply without also experiencing loss and heartache, pain and suffering, trials and tribulations, and joy and happiness.
Jesus is love and He experienced all of these and more, out of love for us, His people. He suffered and died out of love. He was buried and arose on the third day, out of love. And He will one day return for His people out of love.
You and I will experience some crazy love in this lifetime in many forms and fashions, but none as great as the Blooming Crazy Love of our Lord and Savior! As you read the pages that follow, remember Jesus is love. Allow yourself to become vulnerable as
