    What would happen if you had a child and left them unattended, without care or attention, for a day? How about a couple of weeks? Or, even worse, several months or years? The thought is almost unbearably cruel.

    This book is written to bring awareness to the child within us that we have left unattended for far too long. As children, we are in full connection with this inner child. We run, play, and chase after things we enjoy and love. We may not realize it, but we are deeply connected to who we are and what we want. We need not label ourselves to know our identity or question our desires; our present-moment living provides a tacit answer to these questions. I would even venture to say this is the main reason why childhood is so blissful for us all.
