The Trauma Buffet
As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present outcome, that many people would be kept alive [as they are this day].
—Genesis 50:20 AMP
Being sexually abused by my biological father when I was sent to go live with him by my mother because I became too much to deal with.
Listening and enduring the abuse from my biological father, who said to me the reason he wanted to have sex with me was to show me how powerful my vagina area was and that I could use it as a weapon to get whatever I wanted in life.
At the age four or five, being babysat by a second cousin, and he would repeatedly take me into a closet when my mother left, and he would hold me upside down by my ankles with no panties on, and he would masturbate. I remember seeing white, creamy stuff, which later I learned was semen.
Being stabbed in my shoulder blade area of my back after having a physical fight with a female lover. And although that occurred and the relationship was toxic, I stayed, and we tried to still make it work.
Being exposed to oral sex by an older, longtime neighborhood friend, who directed me and a family member to perform oral sexual acts while he watched.
Going days and days without food during my formative school years.
Being bullied in middle school and into my high school years, and being made fun of because everyone knew we had no food to eat and were poor.
Physically looking like someone who lived in a third-world country that suffered from malnutrition because I was so skinny and being taunted and picked on a lot.
Being told by someone I should just go ahead and hang myself and die.
Having to live in a hotel and my vehicle for a period because of being evicted twice.
Being placed on a Greyhound bus and sent to live with my biological father, who was told, If you don't take her, she is going to a detention home.
Being approached by a half sister, who alluded to having incestuous relations.
Being approached by a first cousin on my biological father's side that offered to me that we get an apartment together
