About this ebook

This book is intentionally and primarily directed toward the procrastination of man (male) and his divine charge from God to take the lead in the marriage union. God has for his own reason made it clear that when it comes to the marriage proposal, a man should leave his father and mother and find a wife. According to God, it is the duty of man to take the initiative in marriage. Pastor Larry T. offers practical answers to complicated questions about love, marriage, and the urgency in moving forward now.

    FORWARD

Brother Larry’s book is just what is needed, concerning marriage and its role in society. He clearly points out that it is the will of God for a man to marry a woman at an early age. Melinda and I qualify that, we married at 19 and have remained married for over 61 years. By marrying early and both of us working, I was able to go to college and get two degrees – two is better than one. To this union were born two children, that are both Christians. We have a grandson and two great grandsons, that are being raised in the church.

This book explains the importance that God place on marriage and how he will lead a man and a woman to fall in love. Brother Larry makes it clear that it is the man’s responsibility to prepare himself for marriage and to be the leader in the home. God knows how important it is to choose the right partner and to support each other in good times and in bad. Brother Larry and Cherri; and Melinda and I, marriages are good examples to emulate. The conclusion is, don’t wait too long! Find the right soul mate and start raising a family that will glorify God and leave a legacy that your children’s children can follow.

    INTRODUCTION

I want to thank you for embarking on this divine and proven journey to the marriage alter. It is my purpose that you will find the journey logical and practical. As a disclaimer, when reading, know that the concepts are not all mine. I imported them from the Bible, my parents, and 37 years of being married to my virtuous wife, Cherri. So, make haste to the alter. In writing this book, I hope it is clear that like the author, the content of this book is purposefully God centered. You may not believe in God or have resigned to being an atheist. God still loves you. The distinguishing attribute about
