About this ebook

Athena is a computer programmer in the lost city of Atlantis. The island has been lost to the rest of the human world, hidden away as a perfect egalitarian utopia has emerged. And Athena, along with her colleague Xavier, hold the power of Atlantis in their hands.

And all it takes is one mistake for everything to be sent into chaos. The men become bigger, stronger, and more dominant. The women become submissive, and weak. And both genders have new desires that they need to fulfill. Athena welcomes her bimbo transformation, wanting nothing more than to please Xavier.

But will this new change be permanent? Will Athena and Xavier simply keep their new relationship status for themselves? Or will they share this new way of living with the rest of the citizens of Atlantis? Find out in Utopia’s Fall.

This novella is a bimbo transformation story. It is the first book in the Atlantis Series.

Author

Sadie Thatcher

Sadie Thatcher grew up in a small conservative town (think Footloose). Spending all that time in a sexually repressed place has led Sadie to need to explore her sexuality through prose. Sadie has been a long time writer, but has now become confident enough to share the explorations of her deepest and darkest sexual fantasies. Enjoy.

    PROLOGUE

My name is Athena and I live in Atlantis. The name of Atlantis goes back millennia and is well known in the outside world, even if only in myth and legend.

The Atlanteans of the past decided to separate themselves from the outside world, no longer wanting to be involved in the wars of other nations, nor the greed that fueled such conflict. They had solved the two biggest issues humanity faces: poverty and war. As they liked what they had created in their utopian paradise, they isolated themselves from the rest of the world.

But that isolation did not mean life was boring. Atlantean society flourished with technology and leisure activities. Science made great leaps as each new generation sought out fresh challenges in pursuit of knowledge. Without war or strife, our minds could focus on other things besides the destruction that humankind had always been so good at wreaking on itself and its surroundings.

We advanced, beyond what the outside world was capable of imagining. Our technologies were far beyond those found outside the island's bubble that concealed us from outsiders. That invisibility ensured we were never discovered while we perfected our society. It became a utopia, not just in theory, but in practice. And one in which every person had a say and was protected from discrimination.

When we were a small civilization, we could conduct our affairs as a direct democracy. But as we grew, that became more and more difficult, with every decision needing to be brought before the voting public. But our advances in technology made it possible not to resort to new forms of government. And so the utopian vision continued.

It has reached the point where each Atlantean citizen is given a neural interface, a small device that interacts with the brain so that we can instantaneously make those minute decisions that could otherwise imperil a thriving democracy. And that interface has expanded over the years, giving us complete control over our bodies, maintaining health and allowing our mental images of ourselves to be reflected in the way our bodies actually look.

And my role in all of this is that I am a neural software engineer, responsible for maintaining and updating the programming behind the neural interface. It is up to me to make sure all the programs that govern our lives, whether medical, financial, or otherwise, run perfectly. Not a small task, I know, but one to which I take much pride. I love my job.

Unfortunately, there remains a human element in the system and between Xavier, another of my fellow engineers, and myself, we are that human element. Atlantis may have cut ourselves off from the outside world, but we remain human and humans make mistakes.

H ave you ever wondered what it would be like to do more than write basic software updates? Xavier asked me as we worked side by side at our respective computer terminals. What if we could use this access for other purposes? A little fun for everyone, you might say.

I turned away from my own screen and stared at him. He was supposed to be focused on work and helping me update some of the neural code that needed fixing. No part of what he just said sounded safe. In fact, what he just said sounded downright dangerous.

Of course I have, Xavier answered for himself. We could do anything, remaking society to be whatever we wanted.

I scowled at my partner, not knowing if this was just him joking or if he was serious. He was relatively new, although roughly the same age as me. While I had been hired to work for the Neural Operations Command (NOC) right out of college, Xavier had joined me here after completing a circuitous route through other government departments.

Don't even joke about that, Xavier, I scolded him. You know the precautions that go into making sure these systems work properly and can be relied upon to work day after day without issue.

He scoffed. Come on, Athena, loosen up a bit. I was only kidding around. You don't have to be so serious all the time. You'd think that living in a place like this would make people happy and carefree, yet you're constantly sour when you are here. Maybe you need someone to help get off before coming here, otherwise I worry you might explode one of these days from not letting yourself relax and decompress after a long week's work.

Xavier might have been new to the NOC, but he wasn't wrong about me. I came across as uptight most of the time. And it was hard for me to sit back and relax. There was too much at stake and I worried constantly about what problems could arise.

Of course, maybe he was right and I needed someone in my life to help me find relaxation outside of my daily work routine. I was single and had not dated anyone seriously since I started at the NOC. I was just too focused on my work, knowing how much power I held and how I needed to be constantly vigilant to keep everything running smoothly. My job was too important to be distracted with something trivial like dating and love.

No, Xavier's words probably did apply to me. He didn't need to know that though. The last
