बचपन से ही एकांतप्रियता और अध्ययन की अभिरुचि ने किशोरावस्था से ही गीतात्मक भाव प्रकाशन हेतु प्रेरित किया तो प्रायः अनगढ़ से शब्द चित्र गढ़ता रहा। वर्ष १९७६ में किन्ही भावुक क्षणों में इस पर विराम लगा डाला। भावुकता और पारिवारिक नैतिक आग्रहों ने जीवन को संघर्ष पूर्ण बना डाला। वर्ष १९८२ में भावुक क्षणों ने कुछ अवसरों पर उक्त विराम को तोड़ा। आत्म प्रचार की किंचित भी अभिलाषा शेष न थी, न है। फिर भी कुछ मित्रो और सहकर्मियों के आग्रह पर पूर्व खिलवाड़ों पर आधारित क्षुद्र सा काव्य संग्रह मौन के आयाम प्रकाशित करवा बैठा। वर्ष
