    In a leafy Surrey suburb, there were a few wildlife animals going about their daily lives until they were captured in a woman’s imagination. She observed them passing through the garden coming and going and wrote about them in this book.

    Writing short stories and articles for (Community News, Lingfield) Surrey, UK inspired me to write about a fox that visited my garden, along with nesting robins, toads in the grass, a passing squirrel, and magpies. The local wildlife encouraged the photography and watercolours inset into the book.

    ABOUT THE AUTHOR

    Tracy has worked as a volunteer radio presenter for nine years for MeridianFM and Crawley Hospital radio. Presenting a range of music from rock n roll as Rockin Trace to then present as Kaila Ray playing disco, retro, and current chart music.

    She is a lyricist and music co-producer, publishing several children’s songs; When a Robin Starts a Bobbin, and an instrumental version, Santa’s Sleigh Ride and a country pop track Glitter Rain using her alias, Kaila Ray.

    Her main career was being a civil servant, but she began writing for a local magazine in Surrey, UK. This is her debut children’s book.
