    Author’s Note

    Rose Fairies

Abeautiful rosebush grew in a mysterious forest. Some of the roses on this bush were large and some small, quite unusual for large and small roses to grow on the same bush. There were many petals on each rose. This magical rosebush grew red, yellow, and pink roses. It was uncommon for a rosebush to grow so many different colored roses on the same bush.

The roses turned into bewitching fairies! They popped out from the centers of the roses and whatever the color of the rose was, that was the color of the fairies’ hair.

The fairies had wings of silver and gold. Their wings fluttered up and down as they flew along. The fairies loved to sing and fly in circles around each other. Sometimes they would play tag just like children would do. Only these fairies were not children, they were little bewitched beings. They never saw
