CHAPTER 1

RAZZLE THE SUNBEAM

Every morning as the sun rose and made its way across the big blue sky it was accompanied by a cheerful stream of sunbeams.The little sunbeams danced in the breeze all day long. The morning dew glistened like diamonds on the leaves and grass. The trees of the forest were always dappled in their light. The sunbeams bounced on the ripples of the brooks running in the forest, glided across the meadows, past sheep and cattle and then set in the west for the night. They were a lively lot of sunbeams and always stayed together.

When a storm was expected, the sun would go behind the thickest cloud. The sunbeams would cluster close to the sun since they were afraid of rain. They feared that if ever they were caught in a rainstorm they would fizzle out and disappear forever. But after a heavy shower of rain, when the sky cleared, they would come out smiling brightly once again.

CHAPTER 2

RAZZLE EXPLORES THE FOREST

Razzle was a lively sunbeam. He was very curious, especially about the world around him. He could never stay still a moment. He wanted to go everywhere and do everything all at the same time. He was very adventurous. His secret dream was to discover something new. The rest of the sunbeams on the other hand were quite happy to trail behind the sun and wondered why Razzle was
