Totally Quackers

Leading me to the barn, I was excited to see my new pets.

Having bred rabbits for a living before, I’d arranged to collect one from a breeder at a nearby farm.

It was 2018 and now my children were old enough, I knew they’d love a furry friend!

I’d even told Reilly, 13, Dominic, 11, and Emily, nine, that they could expect a bouncing bunny.

But as we approached the barn, a sweet chirping sound echoed from the one beside it.

The farmer kindly showed me around and while I was still expecting to see a bunch of bunnies, I found something much better.

Instantly, I spotted an adorable brood of fluffy ducklings.

‘They’re only two weeks old,’ the farmer said, pointing at the brown
