    I am retired after practicing medicine (gynecology) for 50 years. This ability (as I like to call it) to create poetry came about suddenly. I now travel buses to get around town and always think in terms of creating something interesting, politics and current events top my list. But my grandson (who is now 5) loves storytelling. So, I got into the children's poetry thing. I am the mother of 7 and the grandmother of 7. Imagine what an interesting, exciting retirement life I have.
