Dear Cricket,

I like the way everybody says “Hey, every-buggy,” but I think I just want to say “Howdy!” I started reading Cricket about a year ago, so I’m still just a bit of a beginner and I don’t know Ladybug, Cricket, or all of the other bugs in the group. I really want to know them and have a favorite! I really like your stories and want to be an author. I am already writing a book. I also want to be a singer and I have been told that I have a pretty voice.

I love dogs and have a lot of pets: a dog, seven chickens (who are my best friends!), three fish, and two frogs. I also have four brothers. I’m the second oldest and have had type 1 diabetes for over five years. My mom homeschools all of us. My favorite book series is The Penderwicks. They are great books about four girls and their adventures. I really like to read and play with Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty. My favorite singer is Britt Nicole, and I love making slime. I can’t wait to read your next magazine!
