THE editor has given me this title and I have kept thinking: “love budgies, but they are not pets for me!” I have had to really think about writing this one. Granted, budgerigars have all the characteristics of a pet bird. They talk (or mimic). Yes, they do have personalities and all seem to respond to different people in different ways.
