A DOG CALLED T-BONE
Robert Ruark admitted that the title I didn’t Know it was Loaded had very little to do with the contents of the book. But somebody gave it to him, gratis, and good free titles are hard to come by, he said. Somebody just mentioned he would like to read a book called I didn’t Know it was Loaded, and it seemed like a reasonable request, so he wrote one.
When I thought about A dog called T-bone, I just had to write something about old T-bone as well, even though it was my own title and compared with the contents of Ruark’s story, this story has got everything to do with T-bone.

Taking the birds back home (I am not beyond begging and pleading for such a privilege) would be enough for my wife’s annual post-season sosatie-making session. She would be happy, and I wouldinto which I saw my last francolin disappear. We only had one dog between the five of us, and T-bone had a busy morning.
