    About the Author

    Preface

The framework of sound Christian theology. It should be plain and straightforward, and it should be scholarly but not impossible to understand. There are some fundamental points to basic theology that we will build from over the course of this work. Our aim will be to avoid any denominational influence within this work and yet, at the same time, be ecumenical towards the whole Christian community. In no way would this work be considered exhaustive, yet it would be sound and understandable. My encouragement to you, the reader, is to remember the name of this work. We are solely offering you a framework for your support and growth. The marketplace offers many theological books with greater details and thought. However, our intention is to make theology simple.

    -I-

    Theology proper

    (doctrine of God the Father)

Theology is generally an overused phrase encompassing all doctrines contained within the Christian faith. However, when we drill down and do some research, we come across a fundamental doctrine called the doctrine of God or theology proper. The premise of this chapter is not to express the existence of God but to focus on God the Father and his three commonly known attributes. These three attributes of God the Father can all be made clear in Scripture. Jesus Christ our Lord informed us in the Gospel of John 4:24 NASB that God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.  Meaning that God the Father has no corporal or physical body. Giving him the ability to be everywhere at once, a term commonly used is [omnipresent]. One preacher by the name of A.W. Tozer once said, God is always near us, closer than our thoughts. We can also examine some essential Scriptures that highlight the reality of the omnipresent
