T his is retaliation, Caitlin yelled, holding her Free Use Bimbo Program draft notice high in the air. She had just arrived at the processing center and was still trying to process what had happened to her. This is retaliation.

Caitlin had spent most of her adult life working as an anti-establishment activist, fighting against the corrupt powers of the state. And when her friend Alice disappeared, her sights had been set on the FUB Program.

The clincher had been a text she received, supposedly from Alice, explaining that she had been drafted and saying her goodbye. However, Caitlin had been in class at the time of the text and by the time she was able to respond, the number had been disconnected. Alice was lost to the system.

That led to Caitlin setting up a one-woman picket of the local processing center. She never stopped the draftees from going in, simply because she knew it was not their fault. They were ordered to report and disobeying that order could result in harsh prison sentences. There was a uranium mine known for its prison labor and short lifespans.

Instead, Caitlin focused on the employees, especially the men, as they made their way in and out of the building. She held signs denouncing the program and chanted slogans designed to make the men feel uncomfortable about what they were doing to the women forced into the system.

This must stop! she called out, shaking the paper in her hand. We won't allow the government to turn women into slaves.
