About this ebook

I should be dead! Blacked out: car went over an embankment, totaled my car, felt like I was in the twilight zone and I was walking with the walking.. walking dead. It was so - so dark and cold. The wind was howling the dry trees were rattling like bones and then I hear voices. Where am I? Who am I? Am I alive or walking with the walking dead in their "Twilight Zone"?

    Introduction

I will achieve my goals again. This is a true story of my life, the tragedies, heartbreak, and loss. There are still so much that has happened, all bad for me and I had no control over. I can only do what I have to do, one day at a time. I know I will conquer this challenge for I'm a very strong person and will get through it all. It will be a long, lonely journey. So sit back, relax, and begin to read!

    Chapter 1

    Alone, Starting Over

I had started my second book on 8-23-32, and then I had a terrible accident and was put out of commission and set myself back. So now after five months, I'm back and starting all over.

About my accident, we'll talk later. So let's catch up on things in my life, not good things, heartbreak, loneliness, so much space, and healing, so overwhelming.

So sit back, relax, and begin to read and enjoy.

    Chapter 2

    Surgeries

When we got married, it was so wonderful. We don't know how happy or everything we'll have to face. Rather, we are up to it, or we aren't. So try to only take a day at a time.

After a bunch of years, my husband had a problem and looked for a doctor to find out what was going on—whenever he went to the bathroom, he could never feel relieved or completely empty the bladder.

Every two weeks, he had to go to the doctor, where he had to put a rod through his private part—another rod over that and another over put all the way to the bladder opening. The bladder tube was closing, and the bladder could not be relieved properly. He would bleed for two days. We were going through this every two weeks for two years. He was not put to sleep; there was no numbing. Much pain! Ouch! (I can just imagine you guys reading this are holding onto your jewels.)

What the rods did was to stretch the bladder tube, which did not stay open; so every two weeks, he had this procedure done! Forever, I would have guessed.

Here, his friend had this problem, and they talked about finding a doctor that maybe could help him. His friend found a doctor and told my husband about this, checked it out, and made an appointment. This was only an experimental surgery.

There is a fifty-fifty chance of becoming sterile-choices-choices; it's a no-brainer. It is either you empty the bladder or do not have a happy ending. Well, they both had the surgery.

It was a rough surgery with everything laid open right up to the bladder, and the thin flexible tube was inserted into the body cavities for drainage of urine from the bladder. The new tube had to grow around the tube placed, making it a new one.

He was sent home for three weeks with the catheter in him (no fun) but finally sent back to the hospital to remove the catheter. The flexible tube was healed and attached very nicely.

My husband had his life back to normal. His friend
