About this ebook

Are you having a bad day or simply struggling to find something positive to think about?  This book is designed to give you a 'thought' to ponder.  Such as #947 "Courage is learned.  It takes practice."  Or #423 "There is always hope."  A way to switch the gears of your brain to a new focus, a new thought, a new life path…  Try it.  I know it works.  These thoughts have changed my life and might be just what you need right now.  Afterall, #746 "If I could show you how your light radiates, you would be in awe."

    About The Author

    The Phrase That Prays

    The Positive Thought Challenge

You may be surmising that this book reflects the way I am. It does not. It is what I desire and how I would like my mind and my life to operate. In the way that some people go to the gym and lift weights to create muscle, our minds need to be exercised and trained for love, optimism, and even stillness. Many concepts listed here are expressed over and over in different words each time. I encourage you to discard anything that does not resonate with you. I also encourage you to begin your own journal and write down ‘valuable’ thoughts.

Why the title ‘The Phrase that Prays’? It is my belief that every thought is a prayer. Picking one of the phrases in the book and allowing it to run a loop in your mind is invoking its power as a prayer or a mantra. Most of us have minds that were unconsciously created and piled with rubbish thoughts. I feel that by choosing the thoughts we desire, the mental ‘garbage’ will naturally dissolve. We will become lighter, happier and experience greater satisfaction in all aspects of life. It takes commitment and discipline, just like working out at the gym. I don’t know any shortcuts.

Imagine that you are the captain of a large ocean liner. You would not just leave port and randomly head into open water without some idea of where you wanted to go, or on the chance that, at some point, you would find

land. No. You would first chart a course so that you could make corrections to that course when necessary and would arrive safely at your destination. The captain knows what he wants, where he wants to go. Do you know where you want to go? Do you have a destination in mind?

Ask yourself this simple question: What do I want?

Many of us spend hours a day thinking thoughts that are actually taking us away from what we really want. Imagine our ‘Captain’ of the ship he is sailing bemoaning the fact that a storm blew him off course. He has told everyone, who
