Few other sports require as little and space-saving equipment as rope skipping. So it can be done almost anywhere in the world. Sport shoes, unpack the rope and off you go. It doesn't matter if you are in a hotel room on the other side of the world or simply lack the motivation to go to the gym.
The positive aspects for the cardiovascular system and coordination are definitely not to be ignored. Not only recreational athletes have discovered them, you will also see athletes jumping in professional sports, for example boxers during warm-up, conditioning or coordination training.
The sport offers various opportunities to work out both as a team player and as an individual fighter. Especially for children and teenagers this social aspect is very valuable. On the one hand, you can improve group dynamics as a team, solve problems together or be creative, and on the other hand, there are disciplines where you can measure each other's endurance and speed. This competitive character can also be motivating.
Whether you are a beginner, advanced, competitive, show or recreational group, the most important thing is to never lose the fun and enjoyment of it. As a member of the club, many groups go to the
