I am Moneta Ricci Nichols, I am the mother of two adult sons. Keith (Army Veteran) and Johnnie (College Student) studying Communication. My two sons are great young men. fun-loving, giving, selfless, hard-working young men.

I consider myself to be an introvert, but I enjoy lots of things that involve spending time with my family and traveling to new places, experiencing new things. I also enjoy volunteering my service to society.

I am a confident, independent woman and a loyal friend, and most importantly a child of God.

In this book, I have written many chapters about my past life.

I want these next chapters of my life to be about more love, more laughter, and living well. I am truly blessed, beyond belief!

Preface

Have you ever been caught in the rain during the monsoon?

It produces a downpour of water that is both one of the heaviest and the most intense that has ever been seen falling from the sky. If you are caught outside during a thunderstorm, you will not have any chance of being dry. In a similar vein, it could be challenging to avoid being impacted by the challenges and bad circumstances that life presents. One cannot attain happiness, peace, or contentment in this life by avoiding difficulties; rather, the kind of life one leads is determined by how one reacts to adversity and the choices one makes in response to it.

Failure is not the enemy of success; rather, it is a necessary component of success, and we must accept that we will not always make the right decisions and will sometimes screw up royally.

The concept of motivation encompasses more than simply urging individuals to take action; it also refers to igniting a fire of enthusiasm within them to carry out the activity in question. Even while there are ways to sway the opinions of other people, it is ultimately up to them and the lens through which they view the world to decide whether or not they will take action or
