    LET’S START HERE

    THE WORK OF

    THE MINISTRY

In 2007, I set out as a young university graduate with the call to start a ministry for a young generation. One night whiles praying on top of an uncompleted storey building near the university campus, I received the mandate to raise the foundations of many generations. Over the years, I have learnt a lot and I have been privileged to have many wonderful experiences. Some of these experiences have been good, others have been bad and others have been downright scary.

I started our ministry in a small 10ft by 12ft room. This building was a boy’s quarters of somebody’s building. This room could take not more than 25 people. We had no choir; no singers, no instruments and no microphone to preach. I remember how we used to play stereo tape to create a worship atmosphere in the church. The income of the church at that time could not even pay for the chairs we rented for the Sunday service. The church did not look like a church but I trusted in the call of God upon my life. In no time, after many struggles, we moved the church from that location into a wooden structure we constructed on a piece of land that used to be a refuse dump. People who passed by our church structure would often mistake it for a drinking spot. Our church was full of young girls and boys. This caused many people to despise it. I faced opposition from parents who did not wish for their children to belong to a no name church like ours.

With time I have seen this church full of young junior high and senior high students grown into a church with over 35 branches in Ghana. I have personally planted five of these churches from scratch, so I know what it means to start from nowhere with nothing. I have led the church to build several church buildings in different parts of the country .I have raised and ordained many pastors and shepherds. Every other month, new churches are being started and the little ministry that started in that small room keeps on growing and expanding. Praise be to God!

I have learnt so much in my time
