n that fateful Saturday, I felt I was going to die of hunger. There seems to be no more strength in my body. I had gone four (4) days without

food. I wept as I laid flat on the altar of our church. I knew I wasn’t going to survive it. But deep within, I heard the echoes of inspiration from the Spirit’s voice. I knew I was in the center of God’s will, but all things seem to be falling apart around me. Help was not coming speedily as I anticipated. This was after I decided I was going to obey the Lord to enter into full-time ministry right after my University education. The Lord had told me three (3) times never to work for any firm after my tertiary education. I knew it was going to be challenging but I was ready to heed the Master’s voice. My parents almost disowned me for standing by my conviction to go into full – time ministry amidst the numerous lucrative job offers they had secured for me. Out of disappointment, my Dad said I was never going to receive a penny from him again. I was left to survive on my own. Life wasn’t easy for me that particular year.
