    About the Author

Congratulations! You have made a life-changing decision. I want you to know that making the decision to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the most important decision you will ever make in your entire lifetime. In addition to receiving Christ, God wants you to understand salvation and how to trust the person you just gave your life to. God wants you to have the self-confidence of knowing for sure that you are saved. On that predetermined date, you allow the Holy Spirit to come into your heart by drawing you to God's altar, then when you've repented all your sins, immediately you became a child of God. Now you believe your sins have been forgiven, and you have been given a fresh start to your new eternal life. At this very moment, you need to become a strong witness of the faith. The best thing for you to do for now on is to look forward, embrace your salvation, and get your mind into position for change.

    Introduction

Welcome to the family of God! The Bible offers important principles for those who have begun a new relationship with God. Jesus did not only die on the cross for our sins. During the time of His crucifixion, there were miracles happening in the temple. God knew there would be no other way for the door to be opened for us to have a relationship with Him but by the forgiveness of our own sin, through Jesus Christ's payment on our behalf. During the very moment that Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up His spirit, the curtain in the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The curtain was torn at the exact moment of Jesus's death. Our separation from God by our sins had been paid in full by the blood of Jesus on the cross.

The book of Hebrews tells us that in the temple, a veil separated the holy of holies, the earthly dwelling place of God's presence from the rest of the temple where men dwelt. The temple curtain was torn from the top down to the bottom indicating that it was torn from the top by God Himself. The Bible was trying to explain to us that no human being could possibly do this in their own strength; God did this through the death of His son. Now all believers can go behind the curtain and have access into the holy of holies. It was not Jesus's torn flesh that ended our separation from God but His sinless life, death, and resurrection. Now we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus. This is the message of salvation: if you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are saved. All your past sins are forgiven, and God promises to never leave you or forsake you. Again, you need to be aware of your salvation. According to the Bible, assurance of salvation rests on four unshakable pillars.
