About this ebook

My book Reigning In Vicory will encourage the readers that inspite of issues and challenges they face in life they can still Reign In Victory. It requires a mindset and a determined spirit to make a difference in life. Reigning In Victory does not mean that on this journey of life we will not have troubles, problems, disappointments, trials, persecution and set backs in our lives. However, inspite of all the issues and challenges that ones life maybe confronted with it is not what happen to you that really matters but what really matters is the way you handle what happen to you. The way we think has a lot to do with the way we live. If you think you can do a thing, then you can do it. Also, if you think you can't do a thing you will eventually talk yourself out of even trying to complete the task. If your thinking is not in line with fulfilling your God given purpose you will most likely settle for existing instead of thriving to be all that God wants you to be and enjoying this abundant life that we have been given. Reigning in Victory will require one to live on purpose to complete the assignments given unto us by God to be world changers and make a difference in the lives of people everywhere. This all begins when one change the way they think and then their whole world around them changes. Learn to see the glass as half full instead of seeing it as half empty. The way you think and your attitude will determine your altitude. This book encourges the reader to do just that. I can do all things through Christ which strengthers me. That is my mindset and I want to help others to change the way they think and Reign In Victory.

    Senior Pastor, Galilee Baptist Church

In this book, the author encourages one to Reign In Victory in spite of issues and challenges they face in life. It requires a mindset and determined spirit to make a difference. This book encourages the reader to do just that.

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

    (I Corinthians 15:57)

    INTRODUCTION

Reigning in victory does not mean that on this journey of life we will not have troubles, problems, disappointments, trials, persecutions and set backs. As a matter of fact, Jesus said that in this world we would have trials and tribulations but to be of good cheer because He has already overcome the world. I have come to learn and know after being in relationship with the Lord, our God, He oftentimes uses trials to develop and mature us on this Christian journey called life. One thing that has helped me remain stable, be steadfast, and to walk by faith no matter what is happening in my life is to see things from a different perspective. My challenges, oppositions, problems, troubles, trials, disappointments, set backs, and persecutions are perceived as opportunities to fulfill God's purpose and plan for my life. In reigning in victory it does not matter what happens to you but what really matters is the way you handle the situation or circumstance. The way we think has a lot to do with the way we live. If you think you can do a thing, then you can do it. But if you think you can't do a thing you will eventually talk yourself out of even trying to complete the task.

Reigning in victory requires you to have the mind of Christ and live on purpose. God's Word declares that, as a man thinks in his heart so is he. The way you think is very important in order to fulfill the purpose and plan of God and complete the assignments given to us by God. It is God's purpose and plan that we should be focused on and not our own plan and agenda. Remember, you are made in the image of God and when you think in that way and begin to see yourselves in that way it changes the way you handle every thing that you may have to endure. You can then encourage yourself and say like the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:19, I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. When I think of reigning in victory it always reminds me of all that Jehovah our Covenant God has done for us. We are now His children through His Son, Jesus Christ. With a heart of thanksgiving and gratitude, I am truly thankful of how God's Amazing Grace has redeemed us from the law of the curse of sin and death. God is so merciful and because of His love, mercy and amazing grace, He looked beyond our faults and saw our need. God saw that we needed a Savior to redeem us from the sinful and fallen state that we were in so He sent Jesus who paid the price for our sins. The gift of salvation is a free gift by the love, mercy and grace of God. For if my one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ our Lord. God loved us even while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Many people today are saying that it is not about you or me. However, that is not totally true because we were created for God's good pleasure to be in a relationship with Him and to fulfill His purpose and plan. When the relationship between God and man was broken, He loved us enough to take action to reconcile that relationship through His Son, Jesus Christ.

The Holy Scriptures of the Bible declares that, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God did not send His Son, Jesus, into the world to condemn, to reject, or to pass sentence on the world, but that the world through Jesus might be saved (John 3:16-17). Sin entered into the world through the action of one man Adam disobedience to God and many were made sinners, so by the obedience of the one man Jesus Christ many were made righteous. We were made righteous, which is a gift from God. God made Jesus to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (2nd Corinthians 5:21). Some people today still think that they can be morally good enough or perform well enough to earn their salvation and righteousness and enter into heaven. But contrary to what others may think or say, being morally good or performing good deeds is not enough to earn anybody salvation or righteousness. Our salvation and righteousness are free gifts from God that we received by grace through our faith in Jesus Christ. You see, no matter how good one may think they are the truth of the matter is God did not redeem us based on our goodness but it was because of His goodness towards us. While we were yet in weakness in our sins and could not help ourselves, at the fitting time Christ died on behalf of us, the ungodly. God did not wait until we got right with Him to extend His love, mercy and His grace. God commended His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Now that is God's unmerited favor towards us, His grace. When we were enemies of God we, were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement through His shed blood. Ephesians 2:8-10 declares, For by grace you are saved through faith; and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them. In Christ Jesus we who were far off from God are made near by the blood of Jesus. We are complete in Jesus, who is the Head of all principality and power. That is why we now reign in victory through Jesus Christ. When God looks at us now, his sons and daughters in Christ, He sees the blood of Jesus that covers us through His Amazing Grace. There has been a change and it is all because of Jesus Christ. Now that is something to shout about, so go ahead and lay the book down for one moment and get your shout on right now because we are redeemed!.

Salvation is more than just you going to heaven when you die. Our salvation through Jesus' shed blood is having an abundant life and having eternal life which begin the day of our salvation when we accepted Jesus into our lives as our Savior and Lord. We are now reigning in victory and living an abundant life to the fullest until it overflows in the fullness of God here and now on earth through Jesus Christ.

Jesus made that perfectly clear in John 10:10 where He declares, The thief (Satan) comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. It is only because of the finished work of Jesus at Calvary that we have received abundance of grace and of the free gift of salvation and righteousness to reign in victory in life. It is in Jesus that we, as believers today are referred to as Christians. It is in Him that we live, move, and have our being. Jesus alone is our hope and by our faith in Him we are the children (sons) of God. John 1:12 declares, But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. It is by faith in Jesus that we are regenerated into a newness of life. We have been redeemed through Jesus shed blood on the Cross at Calvary. According to 2nd Corinthians 5:17, we are new creatures in Christ. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Any man meaning any man, woman, boy, or girl in Christ is a new creature and have a newness of
