As directed by the Holy Spirit after five years being a co- founding pastor of a deliverance ministry and another five years of being in training for ministry, I have taken the step of obedience to follow the calling that God has for my life. Not only to preach the undiluted and uncompromising gospel of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, but to also start writing books from all the experiences I have had as a senior pastor, preacher, teacher, deliverance minister and being under the discipleship of great men of God. I believe my time has come to write from all that I have seen and experienced and hope you will be blessed by this very practical book.

The reason I felt to write this title, ‘Christianity – The Basics: What every Christian Should know’ is that I found many people being saved were in church for a period of time, but didn’t know the basics such as being baptised in water and in the Holy Spirit, their understanding on righteous living, what it means to be set free, how we should follow Christ and the importance of reading the word and praying.

Hence, by writing this book, I hope it will answer many of your questions and be a great blessing to you. But before we begin, I would like you to repeat this prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank you for all your goodness and mercy upon my life

Thank you for saving me through undeserved favour, your wonderful grace

Thank you that I have come to know you

Thank you for your love and goodness over my home, family, children and life

I commit reading this book in your hands and I pray that you will help me understand all that I read, that it will make sense to me and it will answer all my questions on what it means to be born again and follow Jesus! In Jesus’ most precious name, Amen.

Prayer of Salvation

I f you have not received Jesus Christ as your

Personal Saviour, repeat this prayer after me:

Lord Jesus, as it says in your word, John 3:3, unless we are born again by repenting of our sins, we will not see the Kingdom of Heaven.

I now repent of all my sins, I ask that you forgive me of everything I have done, knowingly and unknowingly and I ask you Jesus to come into my heart as my saviour and save me of my sins in Jesus’ Name! Amen

Now it is important to find a good Bible believing Church that moves in the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit, so your life can be transformed and you will become Christ-like in your character, attitude and mind!
