The Boy In The Dark - Not Belonging
A True Short Story - Unedited
What I went through was real for me at the time, the same for you. Whatever you are struggling with is real for you. No argument there. A few years back I would have told you that you are making these things up, you are imagining things, but today, I know that is not the case. I have a better understanding of myself and life in general today.

The Boy In The Dark - Not Belonging - Edward Liebenberg
Introduction
Ok, let me start by saying that I am not a counselor or psychiatrist. For the sake of classifications, I am just an ordinary man that went through things with himself. Nothing more, nothing less. This book will not be your usual book, or at least what I know off. If you feel offended about how I speak, the tone in my writing, well, I have news for you. That is your problem.
I need to tell this story, my story as I have experienced it. So, this is the unedited version.
I want to set the tone as if you and I are having a real conversation with each other. No stage so to speak, just us talking.
What I went through was real for me at the time, the same for you. Whatever you are struggling with is real for you. No argument there. A few years back I would have told you that you are making these things up, you are imagining things, but today, I know that is not the case. I have a better understanding of myself and life in general today.
The image used, the boy in the pipe is real. I slept in a pipe just like that for two days with my space blanket when I ran away from the Childrens Home I was in at the time. So, let’s stay real throughout this story.
