The Art of Healing

EDITOR’S NOTE

I was going to start this note by asking how you are .. but I think I know the answer. Yes. It’s tough. This is when we need to bring out everything we have, and do everything we can, to stay strong. For me this means I am paying more attention than usual to things about myself, such as what my brain is ruminating on and for how long that goes on, and what I am ‘feeding’ myself from). I created a program called Go Well (Go Well Radio on FB if you want to check it out), and I must say I am getting lots of really good interviews – a lot from researchers at some of Australia’s great universities, and also a lot of authors of books. You can listen live from your computer, and we have also started podcasting through Podbean and other platforms – all the links and shows you can access from The Art of Healing website. At the root of what I am doing here, and again it goes back to my story, I think if we are capable, and we have the inclination .. I think it is so important to step up. This is what happened to me. I knew I just had to step up and take what I do to another level .. to a broader audience. So if you look deep into yourself and see that there is something you feel would be helpful for others, that you would like to give and share with others, I just so encourage you to do that. To step up. But also, to overcome any fears you might have around this. It is about feeling the fear and doing it anyway. It is about not running away from fear and turning towards it. But .. it is also about timing. It does have to be right for you. And then I am absolutely sure, it will be one of the best things you have ever done. Because at the end of the day, the only thing we really ever have is ourselves, each other, and maybe a belief that the reason we are here is not because it’s all about us. So enjoy life, don’t take things too personally, and remember ... it’s all a bit of a roller coaster ride!
