If I ever die trust that I will come back to you! That’s how much I love you!

At 2010 our world as we know it is about to change for ever......... we have damaged our planet so much...... huge storms hit us hard all the time.......... We all were in to our normal every day when the earth started to move so intense and it lasted 15 damned minutes!!  It was not only in my country but everywhere!! An earthquake all over the planet!! So many people died that day.......so many huge disasters happened.... huge waves drown whole cities that day........ Nothing was the same after it.  

But something else happen that day as well!! A huge amount of land appear out of nowhere!! Those that live there where hidden for hundreds of years from us and they were shocked seeing their hidden land appear to the whole world! Their losses were less than ours because their way of living was more natural bonded and more sophisticated than ours. 

They are the no- humans that is how we call them. Among them live all sorts of creatures, for example vampires that are nothing like all those movies we have seen. They do have those extra teeth’s but they do not drink human blood. They drink blood of an animal that they grow like we do with chickens or any of our meet. They are very fast and they can handle cold perfect because they do not feel the cold at all! Their eyes are red and they do have long strong nails when they transform.  They do ok at summer weather and they can walk at day light just fine. Werewolves on the other hand they have strength and when they transform only their hands, feet and eye change. They are so many kind of different types of no - humans and in my eyes all of them are extraordinary beautiful.

When their land came out of hiding as you can imagine people were afraid of them. The movies had already made humans think they knew how they would act on them.  Thank God, when their land emerged it was cut form everything around it so there was only one path to go in or out. All around it was a huge cliff and seawater, so they are protected in a way.  For almost 10 years, they were on a war between humans and no - humans because most people were so afraid of them and greedy companies wanted their blood and abilities.  They could heal and the only way to kill them is if you cut their heads or use specific weapons they had.  They did try to help us by leaving food to the poor people, treating them for free using herbs. They did not use money at their place, no one was poor there. They did had lots of gold and other treasures like that, they use money only to go around in our countries. The war and hate started to be less and less as the years gone by. At some point, their government and ours came in to an agreement.  They gave a few of their healing knowledge helping us give an end to some of our very painful diseases.  Some of the rules of this agreement are: No magic on human’s lands, no transformations on human’s land, no humans on no-humans land, no portals to travel in humans land and so on ..........

Many of the non-human started to live in our cities now.  They are still humans who hate them just because they are full of hate in their heart and they want to blame someone for it.  

" ......Dear diary today a new student came to school. No one dares to talk to him except me. We live in a new age and not everyone is use to trust or live with no - human people.  Likely our town is more welcome to them than other places. I adore supernatural movies and everything about fairies and stuff like that! When I came out of my classroom and saw him sitting alone at the schoolyard, I was so amazed and my face lighten up I am sure of this! I could feel my huge smile all over my face!! I was ready to go and talk to him but I was not faster than him hahaahahahahah . He saw me, smiled at me, and came in front of me!

-  Him: Hi! My name is Dylan. (he gave me his hand)

-  Me: Hi! It’s amazing seeing you here! I am so happy to meet you! My name is Emily..........

After a few days, he got the kids to respect him! No one dared to bully him! I looked up to him with admiration! He is so brave, so honest, it’s like he is not afraid of anything! If only I was like him...I am always afraid of something...and most important of going home. Thanks to him, I do not hate going to school anymore! Moreover, I do not feel so alone at school no more, because he is always there! Even with his new friends, he always has time for me too! I never had a best friend before. He told me I am his best friend for life and I told him he is mine too. He is always there for me!

School is where I can see him and we get to spend so much time together! Teacher who adores me so, told me to be careful with him, they are afraid that he will hurt me. I told them he is making me feel safe! I will never tell him what the teachers told me I have no intention on hurting his feelings.  He does not know that I know what he is doing at school hahhaahhahaha and I am not going to tell him that I know hahaahahhaah I heard him saying it to his friends the other day! He told them that if anyone hurts me in any fucking way he would drink their blood and kill them hahahaaahha....... "

Most of the girls are not afraid of him being a no - human after having him in our school for so many months and they are trying to win his heart. I do not get it we are kids too youth to have boyfriends and stuff like that. Why on earth do they want to grow up so fast?? Nevertheless I only hope he will not forget our friendship if he likes one of them.....

The next day at one of our schools breaks I was sitting moody silent thinking that he may like one of those girls and I will be left alone again.  I did not wait for him to come out of his class I went out and sat alone somewhere. I needed sometime alone so I could think on how I could ask him my question.  Most times, he waits for me outside my classroom or even walk in my class as soon as the door opens. That’s what he did this time too but he did not find me. I was not waiting for him out of his class or in mine when he came looking for me. Therefore, he looked from the hall window outside to the yard. He spots me siting alone and not smiling so he run down the stairs and came out to me.  I was not alone no more. Before he came, many of his friends were with me now and they were asking me who have hurt me so they can go and beat him or her. That made me smile and made me feel so safe. As I was telling them that no one had hurt me, he came and made room so he can stand in front of me. He sat at his knees so he can look at my face as I was sitting. He took my hands in to his and spoke to me with a voice and eyes full of tenderness and worry.

-  Dylan: My unforgettable what is going? I am here for you as all my friends. Tell me who hurt you so I can give them a lesson that they will never forget! I promise you that for sure! (I saw anger in to his eyes)

-  Me: No one, I promise.

-  Dylan: Are you sure?

-  Me: yes, I am (I smile at him) and I am not doing it to draw attention to me.

-  Dylan: Who the fuck dares to tell you something like that?? (He was so mad) I know you for months and you never complain, never stop smiling or being kind to anyone!!!

-  Me: No one, please calm down; you know you are not allowed to show any part of your vampire looks. Calm down! You will get in to trouble........  (When he saw how worried I was, he stopped and started to calm down. The rules are that if any of the no - human people want to be at our schools they need to me calm and never attack any of the human kid. ) If they punish you because of me, I will die of quilts! (That made him clam down completely).

-  Dylan: I will never do anything to hurt you. Emily never!!!

-  Me: (I smile) I hope so:PP

-  Dylan: Guys thanks for coming can you please leave us alone. (His friends left) Now tell me why you were so sad and why you did not wait for me?

-  Me: Well, I was thinking of something a few days now and it made me feel sad. I needed to find the courage to ask you something....

-  Dylan: My unforgettable you can always tell me and ask me anything. Please do not forget that ever again!

-  Me: ok

-  Dylan: Promise me that you will never ever forget it!

-  Me: I do, I do, I do (I smiled). I was thinking that one of those days now that you have all those girls on your feet you would end up liking one of them and have a girlfriend... its normal for this to happen .... But then you will forget all about us being friends ...I will lose you and I will be feeling alone and so unsafe again..... Its selfish of me I know...... 

-  Dylan: (he looked at me smiled, put his hands on to mine) Look at me Emily..... when my parents told me we will going to leave our home and come and try to be a part of this thing humans accepting no - humans in to their life’s I was so mad, so damned upset........I had to let go of my safe life to come here. When I saw how the kids looked at me, here, I was so mad but I had to promise my parents and myself that I would make it work no matter what! And then I saw you!!!!!! Looking at me with a magical smile and you looked like an angel! I trusted you completely without knowing why and all I could think was I need to come and talk to you! Then I realized that you were going to do the same thing! Ever since that day you are my strength, Emily!! Thanks to you I manage to make them respect me......... do not look at me so amazed...... you make me feel I can do anything!! Kids and most teachers like you so much you know....... I have never meet anyone so kind and so open mind..... And that smile of yours!! O! That smile!!! I know that I am so blessed coming here after all!! In addition, if I want to keep having you in my life I have to work hard to be here! If not, I will lose you! So ..... Never ...ever no matter how in love I will be one day, I promise you, you will always be by my side as my best friend!!!! That’s it!! That’s the smile I am talking about!! You are my beautiful angel with the magical smile and I need to see it every day!  I cannot live without it! When I walk to a shop or to the street alone or with my parents and someone calls us names or look us with hate, you are the reason I can stay calm!! You!! Because now I know what I have to lose if I do not act calm!! My parents are amazed of me. They know how mad I can be when something upsets me hahahahaahhaha if they ever ask me what made me change so much, I will tell them I have an angel looking after me hahaahhahaha.   

-  Me: hahahahahahahahaha You know, when you will grow up you will make so many girls be in love with you if you talk to them like that!! Hahaahahahahahha I will be your secretary ahhaahahhaha to help you remember their names and your dates ahahhaahahah so you will not mess it up!!! (We both laugh so much)

-  DYLAN: YOUR HUMOR is one more thing on the list of the things I admire so much on you! Don’t ever change!!

-  Me: It’s because you get me so well! Not many accepts me as I am haahahhaahhaha it’s so sad but so true!

............ After a few weeks my parents stop living together and I was so happy!! I could feel safer now that my father left!! As I came to school, I saw a girl in my class that I have not seen before, a new one, she was pointing at me as she was talking to some girls. As I came near, she spoke to me.

-  New girl: I’m sorry you are an orphan now.

-  Me: what? What are you talking about? Who are you and how do you know about my family?

-  New girl: Your dad left so now you are an orphan!!

-  Me: That does not mean I am an orphan and I will ask you again how do you know that my dad left?

She did not reply to me and she started talking to the girls in my class on how good she is at drawing. I was so upset and so confused. The teacher came and the lesson started. When the break bell rang, she started talking about me to others saying to them not to talk to me anymore because now I am an orphan. I did not care about it if those kids are so stupid to let someone tell them what to do then I do not need their hello. I saw Dylan waiting for me outside my class and I smile at him. He came and hugged me.

-  Dylan: Do not worry, I know what some kids say about you and I will fix it soon!

-  Me: No! Do not go and start threaten them or go in to a fight! I honest do not care!

Next day first class before the teacher closed the door, I was speechless seeing Dylan coming in to the class with all his stuff and he sat next to me. The teacher told us that Dylan would be staying in our class from now on. I wanted to scream from happiness!!!

-  Dylan: (he whispers to me) See I told you I will fix it soon! I did not hurt anyone. Now we can spend more time together and I can make sure that smile of yours will not stop to exist! ..........

.................  Months pasted and summer came, school was over for 2 months and Dylan left on vacations with his family. I stayed at home like all summers. I never went on vacations.

More summers came and no matter how long we were apart for summer time we were still best friends no matter what!

We are not little kids no more. New school for us this year and at summertime I had an accident. Moreover, my woman days became harder with much more pain, I was still so new to all that having blood once a month coming out of me with so much pain.  When the accident happen it was while I was playing hide and seek I was so calm pulling out of my arm that huge metal..... How I manage to walk to the nearest drugstore with all that blood coming out of my arm I have no idea. I do not remember anything. I do not remember the pain, the hospital or anything. Of course, I did not tell him about it because he would have been very worried and he would have wanted to come back to see me and stop his vacation sooner because of me. I did not want him to spoil his summer vacation.

School open and I was able to see my best friend again! He was so happy to see me like each year when summer was over!! He was so much taller than the last time I saw him! He gave a huge tight hug without noticing the gauzes on my arm. He was so excited to see me! I felt such a deep pain and I trembled and made a sound. He stopped hugging me and he looked at me with fear.  He saw a tear in my eye.

-  Dylan: O! Shit! I am so sorry... did I hurt you?

-  Me: Look at me my silly boy! Don’t feel guilty! It’s not you (I showed him my arm) I had an accident and it still hurts a lot.

-  Dylan: O my god! What happen???? When???? How serious is it?

-  Me: I was lucky......(I told him what happened). ........ Wow! I have a question for you! How do you manage to be in the same class with me all those years???? Our last name does not start with the same letter.

-  Dylan: That’s the good part of being a no - human. I told them I know you and feel better and safe being in the same class with you!! They still worry about kids bulling me and stuff like that so they just say ok:PPPPP

-  Me: hahahahaah nice one!!!!

Weeks have past and I am having a hard time to this new school and with one of the female teachers.  She seems to hate me and I have no idea why.  She was ignoring me when I had my hand up to be a part of the class so I can earn points for my grades and unexpected one day she humiliated me in class. She asks me to go up to the board near her and she talk to me in a way as if I was the most stupid kid on the planet.  I started to cry. Dylan stood up came to me hug me and took me outside of the class as she was screaming at him.  He walks me to the schoolyard where the water we drink is and put water to my face.

-  Dylan: Please wait for me here I will not be long.  (He went to the school principal and told him what happened and he demanded to change that teacher or he will act accordingly.)

And he did! When he saw the next day that she was still in our class still teaching us. After school he manage to make all the studies to protest and close the school until she was removed from our school!! He and many of the kids stayed in the school for 30 days until she left.

When Christmas came, he asks me if I want to go to his house for dinner and to meet his family. I was so happy! When I told him yes, he was so happy too!! Their house was amazing; they must have a lot of money to afford a house like that.  They both welcome me with a hug! It was my first time feeling loved so much! I had the best time ever! I could not wait to visit them again!

-  Dylan: You are so exited after your visit to my house! I see you shine again!!!

-  Me: I am!! You are so blessed having so much love!! Thanks for inviting me over!

I will never tell him about my family. That will be the only secret I will keep from him. He will want to save me if he knew and he will not be able to. I need him to be happy so I can take strength from him.

As months, passed girls came in to the picture for him. Some try to be my friends just so they could be close to him. I did not mind at all.  As for me, I felt more comfortable being around boys. They trusted me, telling me everything.  I started playing football with some of them and I was so good at it! The only girl on both teams! I got their respect that’s for sure! I was good in many of the boy’s games. I did not care about dates and boyfriends.  Even if some boys did looked at me different I did not care.

-  Dylan: Why you do not date? You have so many boys as friends.

-  Me: Well, no one have asked me out on a date yet ahahahahahha and I do not care about it to be honest.

-  Dylan: But we could go out on double dates if you date. (He looked sad saying it)

-  Me: My time will come but not now. We spend time together. We go to movies and sometimes with your girlfriends. We cannot be together all the time they will think we are more than friends and you will lose all those fans you have. Hahaahahahha

-  Dylan: hahahahahahaha I need that kind of attention I am not ready to let it go hahahahahahaha. I am sorry for thinking that you need it too. You know I want you to be happy. (He looked at me and smiled)

-  Me: I know my drear best friend forever! (I said in a teasing voice). Your girlfriend is coming over. Hi Sila. I am leaving you two alone. Bye!  (He looked and gave me a smile)

That summer before he left for his vacations, he ask me

-  Dylan: Why you never go too?

-  Me: My mom always works all day long so I am use to it. In addition, she does not know how to swim so she is afraid to let me in the sea.

-  Dylan: I am sorry Emily. I have an idea!

-  Me: o boy.... I should be afraid since it’s your idea:PPPP

-  Dylan: :PPPPP Then I will not tell you what it is until I am sure I can make it happen!

-  Me: I do not dare to ask what it is hahahahahahahahaha.

He told his parents if I could come with them to their summer vacations and they told him next time yes. This time they have already made all the plans. He was so sad when he told me about it but I told him not to worry.

-  Me: I am fine! My mom told me there is a buss this summer that will collect kids from my neighborhood and I can go too if I want to! I may not know how to swim but I can see the sea and enjoy if safe.

-  Dylan: When I get back, I promise I will teach you how to swim!! I love swimming!!

-  Me: Yea!!Thanks!!!

He left and I started going with that buss to a beach. I had four of my girlfriends with me and four of the boys. I watch them swim and have so much fun but I could not dare to go in to the water if the water was higher up from my knees.  I was so afraid I would drown.  The 10th day 2 of the boys find it a good idea to do a prank on me. They put a tripod on me and I fell in the water with my face down. I hit my knee much on some stones under the water. Those two boys sat on me thinking that because the water is not so high, I will not drown.  None of them thought that since my face was under the water how I could be able to breathe and not drown. I panic and I started drawing and they did not stop, they saw it as a joke.  I was about to lose my senses when someone took me out of the water. I could not get myself together yet but I could hear him being so mad at all of the kids, yelling at them, calling them names. Many came around to see what have happened. When I was able to see around me, I saw all those people looking at me and I felt so ashamed. I wanted the earth to open up and eat me. I hated being the center of attention. I try to sit so I can say to them I am fine so they could leave but I felt dizziness.

-  The boy that saved me: No, lay, not so fast..... (His voice was so manly not like a boy and so calm, so amazing).

-  Me: Thanks, I am fine, I will take it easy I promise (and I looked at him).

He asks everyone to leave me so I can relax and they all went back to what they were doing. I felt relief that no one was looking at me. Those boys went having fun as if nothing has happened. Seeing them like that hurt my feelings so much.  I felt once again like no one gives a shit about me, if I live or die. He stopped my thinking.
