    REDEMPTION THROUGH CHRIST BLOOD

Thousands of years ago, when man fell, man naturally began to tread on the road of destruction. Man lost the right to access God as he willed, and his communication with God was reduced to nothing. The lack of contact between him and God was the exact definition of destruction. The loss of access to God opened doors to several issues for a man—defeat, frustration, hardship, etc. Man lost the ability to remain perfect and began to battle with several destructive issues that had become present in the world as a result of sin.

Cain, the son of Adam and Eve, was one of the first men who walked the earth after it was created. Cain killed Abel without thinking about God. From the moment man fell, he adopted an evil nature that spread to the rest of the world's population. Later, we learn that God floods the earth and wipes out everyone except Noah and his family.

Then, there's the story of God raining sulfur upon Sodom. Several sins and atrocities were committed by man then, and then that made him move deeper into the path of destruction. Remember, the wages of sin is death. For anyone that chooses not to seek God, the end of the road always holds destruction.

Man lost track of his purpose and began getting involved in several evils that pushed God further away from him.

When God saw all of those things, He felt a deep sadness unlike any other. He was aware that humans would be affected by the evil in the world from the moment they fell. He at one point regretted that He had created man.

    Genesis 6:5-7

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

What He wanted was for man to access Him, but then, the evils they had done made it very impossible. At some point, sacrifices became the rule of the day. Anytime man needed to appease God; they'd mount cows and other animals and then make a burnt sacrifice. The blood of bulls and cows then was the only way they could rid themselves of the evil attached to them.

When God saw that the sacrifices weren't enough to keep a man off the road of destruction, He chose to do something else. He looked around; saw His Son and the value of His blood. He knew the blood was just great to atone for the sins of men. So, He decided to send Him to the earth to die for man. Jesus was to redeem man from the chains of sin and struggle. This, He did because of how much He loved the world.

    John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus was the way out of the path of destruction that man had been treading. Even before He was born, several prophets had spoken beforehand
