Take Heed

About this ebook
People have talked a lot about a great awakening. Some call it the last or greatest revival. Others have called it a great outpouring. What everyone is referring to is God pouring His spirit on or over the earth and many around the world being saved by accepting Christ and being reconciled to God, right before the Tribulation period. Either way, if this is to be, the one thing that is not explained is how this all comes about. In a way, it has been presented beautifully, and for anyone who believes, we know God is great, and He may not come or answer when we want, but He is still always on time, which is His time.
So, what if the truth is that there is a beautiful harvesting of many people from all around the world? What if humans truly get to partake of helping to carry this out? How will it start and what will it look like?
I just throw this out to all to read, study and pray about it. In fact, I ask you to. If you've read the bible, when it describes the end times, how is it described? Does it speak of all this glory either right before or during the Tribulation period before Christ's return? I hazard to say, not really. Does that mean I don't believe a great outpouring and end-time harvest happens? Actually, I do. I just feel it comes about differently.
So, that is what this volume is about. God bless and Take Heed.

FOREWORD
Elijah was a notable prophet, who was sent to tell people they were doing evil in the sight of God. He walked in miracles, strongly evangelized, with God giving him explicit directions and Elijah simply doing what He was told to do. He was not without failure, but he finished strong, with God sending fiery horses and a chariot to separate him from Elisha, his replacement, and a whirlwind to pick him up when his time on earth was finished.
When I asked the Lord what He wanted in the Foreword, He said to use the Aviator and the Pilot as the Take Heed warning. This perplexed me until I typed it into my phone. Immediately two things popped up. One described the Pilot as the one that controlled the instruments, and the Aviator as the plane itself. Another was an article from Budd Davisson from Plane & Pilot Magazine and described both the Pilot and Aviator as two versions of someone that flies a plane. In this, the pilot manipulates the controls and forces it to go as it needs to. However, the aviator merely does what the plane needs, in this case applying pressure, which assists the plane to do what it is doing. It seemed more like the Aviator and the plane operated in unison.
Until fleeing to Mount Horeb to avoid Jezebel’s threats, Elijah moved fluidly with God. He heard God. He took his directions from God. He walked in God’s timing.
His agenda was God’s, not his. He was not trying to build a ministry, maintain one, or build wealth. More importantly, he wasn’t trying to steward God! When he was sent, he applied pressure by speaking what God said, with God performing miracles through him, so He could show His power, and show Himself real to the people.
Being effective for God in this hour, will mean being a wholly surrendered vessel. If you have an agenda of your own, you will cease to be useful. So, take heed.
