About this ebook

This work on seeing the power of God became important because of what is happening today in Christendom. The children of God seem to be surrendering to the works of the devil. If I, a child of God cannot challenge the works of the devil, then l have no value.

have seen, that the people who should be working for God in great power, are busy talking about those they say are not working for God. My thought is that the child of God should be much more able to do what these workers of darkness cannot do. I mean, how can l be working for the most high God and the one who is said to be working for the devil, has more miracle capacities than l do and l am not ashamed to be saying it? They are more in number, healing the sick, casting out demons and more prosperous. God forbid!

It is high time we take the bull by the horn. The child of God, who is enabled by God, is different from the others. He (Child of God), should be the one in charge and take the show from the one using any other powers. Abraham was the only man who offered God his son in a sacrifice, Noah built the ark that saved him, his family and the animals God instructed him to select. Once Moses was enabled, he took the show in Egypt and Pharaoh's magicians saw the hands of God.

Elijah was able to challenge four hundred prophets of Baal, defeated and killed them at the end of it. He was fed by ravens after, he prayed to cease. He also prayed, to bring rain and prayed for the dead son of a widow to come back to life. We cannot forget Elisha, who had a double portion of the anointing that was on Elijah. Miracles followed him.

Remember Joseph, when he was challenged with the dream of Pharaoh king of Egypt, Daniel was a slave and he was able to interpret the dream of the king of Babylon, David battled and killed Goliath. He (David) became a man after God's heart. Solomon his son, had wisdom like no man had or would ever have. His riches were beyond measure. Mary the mother of Jesus was the virgin who became pregnant and is called blessed.

Jesus went to the cross, died and resurrected. That was what He came to do for us. Before He died, He was a wonder to the people and while they called Him names, He did more and more. His Commission to His followers is found in the book of Mark chapter 16 verses 15 and 18 which says,

"15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover" KJV.

From that time of this Commission, the Apostles of Jesus Christ got ready to be in control and once the Holy Spirit came upon them, they were unstoppable. There were the sorcerers and diviners, but they (The Apostles), made them see a power greater than theirs. Peter and John were at the fore front and It was so obvious, that even a sorcerer had to beg for the power given by the precious Holy Spirit. What more can l say? The list is tremendous. They performed many miracles to the amazement of the unbelievers and overcame death threats from the leaders and controversies which came against them in their ministries. Our God is able!

    INTRODUCTION

FROM CREATION

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:  and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth

What is divinity? The dictionary defined it as of being divine or pertaining to God, eternal, holy, or otherwise Godlike. Another definition of divinity is superhuman or surpassing excellence, beautiful or heavenly.

To be enabled is defined as to be given strength or ability, to make firm or strong. The other way to define it is to confer sufficient power upon or to furnish with means and or opportunity.

Man was made in the image of God, so man can be as God. In Genesis 1:26-26, the bible says, "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:  and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them".

For man to be like God therefore, man must have speed in all things because God had speed. Genesis 2:1-2, confirms that God finished all the works of creation within seven days.

God said, let there be and there was and then made man out of the dust, to look just like himself in all things. In verse 19 of the same chapter 2 of Genesis, the word of God says "And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air;  and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them:  and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof".

God showed what He wants man to be, right from creation. Man was divinely enabled to be in charge. He gave us control over all His creation and instructed us to dominate the earth. What this means as far as the earth is concerned is that man can say let there be and there will be. The key point is, know who you are.

Although man faces restrictions from fellow men, the man of divine ability is unstoppable. No matter the circumstance and situation, this man who carries the mark of God is always in charge and moves faster than the ordinary man.

To be divinely enabled connotes an extra ordinary ability beyond human reasoning and understanding. The more you try to understand it, the more difficult it becomes. You see a man who has a head, two hands and two legs, just like you but what he does is unexplainable.

The bible has examples of such people whom we are going to look at in this book. Such key people did exploits in their life times because God had enabled them to function as His own representatives just as He has enabled us to function through His son Jesus Christ who came and died on the cross, to save us.

You where created with abilities to function under the auction of God. The thing is that sometimes, we do not know who we are and why we are on earth. Many have died with their gifts without using them even once, because they didn’t know, they had the gifts. When we look at ourselves as ordinary, we become ordinary and die ordinary.

I didn’t know what I carry until Christ visited me. I was just an ordinary person who went about doing ordinary things. There were times I said something’s and they happened, but l didn’t see it as anything and life went on.

Once I was in my country home with my father and looking out of the window, l saw a man coming in but he stopped on the way and took something out of his pocket. I was looking at him in silence because l wanted to see what he will do. He raised a stone in the compound and kept what he had taken out of pocket, under the stone. He turned around and left. I was surprised and went to call my father.

My father came out and I told him what I saw. Then he told me the man had dropped a charm there. I said I knew the spot and we went to raise the stone. To my surprise, there was nothing
