About this ebook

The 'she' is finally completed in the love of God, for she has found her purpose in life and more importantly, she lives out who she really is in God eventually after much struggles with her identity. It's a story of her rebellion and how God has graciously forgiven her sins and through learning more of God's love, she has learned to walk in obedience to God without relying on her own wisdom at last. God has graciously transformed her life and made her a brand new person in the Lord. It's a story of God's forgiveness and God's grace and love. It's the Author's real story unfolding to all - God is able to change our lives if we only put our trust in Him.

Brokenness wasn’t just inside Alice's head, it flooded her body - how she saw herself, how she expressed herself, and how she worked to reinvent her identity.  If she could do this, then maybe, just maybe, she could become someone she could love ? or maybe someone could love her ?

    S. Mariah speaks from the heart, sharing her open, honest and very real struggles in her search for love and identity.  Through her personal experiences, S. Mariah shows there is hope and so much more.  As you read about her journey, she expresses there is love, joy, peace and acceptance to be found from the One who was there all along - Her Creator, her Heavenly Father.  Step by step He leads her on a pathway toward forgiveness and gratitude for the beautiful identity she had all along.

As a personal friend of S. Mariah's, I am delighted to write the foreword for this book as I have witnessed her rise from the ashes, be transformed into a confident woman, and enter into true freedom.

Because of His enormous love for each of us, He wants us all to experience overwhelming assurance that our broken lives can take a U-turn.  He has a plan and a purpose for each of us, no matter how unreachable you may feel.

    S. Mariah is married to her loving husband of 1.5 years.  Together, they desire that the love of God which is freely given, reach your hearts also.

As S.Mariah's husband I am happy to share my thoughts as I have seen her evolve into a self-confident woman. S.Mariah has always, and will always say things as they are, which I believe is a strong personal trait in her.

I believe we all have to hear the bad, worse and worst in order for us to improve ourselves constructively. Of course sometimes we have to find a balance as to who, what, when, where, why to say things, but at the end of the day the message must be carried across to the other party, and understood by them. We have had our fair share of deep discussions to share our experiences, interests, feelings or just thoughts in general with people, and how to connect with them.

    S. Mariah, I look forward with great joy to continue being your great listener and contributor in our discussions as we build our lives together.

    The ‘she’ Confused

    Since her early childhood........

Her dad - an absent father

Once upon a time, there was a young girl living in public housing with her family - her parents, grandparents and her other three older sisters. She wasn’t the favourite girl among the others in her grandparents’ eyes because she hadn’t been able to speak or giggle much when she was little and that strange silence in her caused her fate of ‘becoming the non-favourite’ one in the family. It might not be that bad in reality but that ‘unloved’ feeling made a way to trouble Alice in her later years. Who is to be blamed somehow? Alice has indeed shown no signs of any emotional reactions towards others and it’s undeniably hard for those around her to actually like her ‘emotionless’ symptom, it could be some sort of unhealthy symptom in the girl that might need medical attention. The most unfunny thing was that this girl couldn’t even giggle when someone tickles her? SO, this girl is Alice, her name might have already given out some tips about her ‘wanderland’ in her later years’ adventure. Yes, this Alice is also a curious girl like the ‘Alice in the wonderland’ story, not that she is curious but also wanders so long in her ‘land of confusion’. Even though her stay in the ‘land of confusion’ was rather long, thank God she finally found herself breaking through all barriers of confusion, she found her ‘true’ identity in God. You are reading the Author’s own story whether you believe it or not. You are on the journey of discovering this wandering Alice’s story - her confusion has caused her to live in many years of pretending and becoming someone who wasn’t her at all. And how God has done an
