About this ebook

The birth of multiple secret yearnings.

A shocking turn of events in this series and a must-read for lovers of jaw-dropping, fast-paced and irresistible plots

Christine

Christine knew she looked just the way she wanted. Alluring, sassy, bossy, mixed with a little bit of seduction. Managing Director of Morgan's medicals she is now a close family friend of the Ellsworth medical billionaire family. A force to be reckoned with -she knew what she was gunning for, even if a part of her keeps telling her  she was doing something wrong, but there was the other part that convinced her to go on. Richard Ellsworth has always proven himself to be a challenge and he was one big challenge.

A business dinner together in Richard's Lamborghini.

The power and strength of an experienced, fit, mature man.

Christine was more than ready for. She wanted every bit of this man, and yes, she was going to have him. He just didn't know it yet.

She looked at him from where she was sitting, her eyes traveling along his body, loving the way he handled the wheel with such ease and gentleness but still enough power to control it. Christine could imagine him doing the same thing to her, it was as though her body already knew what kind of a lover he was and reacted to it in genuine anticipation. She bit down on her lip, trying to stop a moan from escaping her as the image of his hand driving her from one orgasm to another placed itself in her brain

John

He simply couldn't explain his feelings rising throughout his body.

He was stock still for a few seconds as he tried to picture the image of the little girl of his best friend.

Amanda now a famous, speciality doctor, a seductress and gorgeous lady who has just waltzed into his life as though she owned it.

They couldn't be, because how then would he explain his feeling this way towards his best friend's daughter. It was clearly forbidden and mustn't be heard by anyone.

Mary

Her eyes traveled down the length of Aiden's body as that still very foreign feeling erupted from deep within her belly. His dark getup along with the way he was standing in a corner, leaning against a wall, and scrutinizing her, only added to his lone wolf mysterious image in her mind. She wondered how long he had been standing there and watching her. Mary wanted to say it felt creepy, but she couldn't because she liked it much more than she wanted to admit.

Her girlfriend's brother.

A global traveller.

Aloof.

Bad.

Pure potential hedonism.

    Chapter 1: Sweet Temptation

Amanda Ellsworth's green eyes darted from the file in her hand to Susan, and she knew very well that Susan Davis too hadn’t been able to get over the surprise of the new change in medical equipment supplier.

She perused the list in her hand, cross checking to make sure everything was intact. You made sure everything listed here was delivered?

Yes, Dr. Ellsworth, Susan said, her practiced smile sitting on her face as she made a quick glance towards the iPad in her hand.

I guess that's good then, Amanda said. You said Christine didn't come with the delivery team, right?

    No, she didn't.

Amanda nodded and stretched the file in her hand towards Susan. Has this been forwarded to the financial Secretary. I have a meeting with my father this evening, right?

Yes, and a lunch date with Dr. Gilbert and Miss. Morgan, Susan added, a sly mischievous smile on her face. Amanda flushed crimson red; she didn't need to be reminded of that fact. And for some reason, Jacques still found a way to make her feel so giddy after all this time. Even if it wasn't a date with just the two of them, Christine would be joining them as they hadn't seen her in a while, but somewhere in Amanda's brain, she seemed to think it would be just them.

But she really needed to get a hold of herself, since they both have been together for months now and they have even taken their relationship up a notch now by moving in together. Amanda had moved in with Jacques after much conviction about two weeks ago and she was finally giving a chance to the merger practices Jacques had been talking about. She and Jacques hadn’t admitted it yet, but Amanda knew that somehow a hidden commitment had been made by both. And yes, all this joined together makes her even more excited at the mention of his name.

And yes, Dr. Reed is here to see you, Susan said, her voice coming out in a quiet whisper.

Carter is here? Amanda asked, her whole mood going downhill, trying to figure out if they had a meeting she had somehow forgotten about, but she went up blank.

She hadn't seen Carter in over three weeks and that was at a meeting at her father's hospital. Even then their encounter had been short lived as Carter's cool demeanor with her didn't seem to be so cool in Jacques' presence. There hadn't been a need to introduce Jacques and Carter because for some reason, they seemed to have met each other. Amanda wouldn't deny that things had been a little awkward, but Jacques' collected aura had made it a lot easier. A part of her believed Carter wouldn't want to see her again, and now that he was here, she didn't know how to phrase things.

Show him in, Susan, Amanda found herself saying even before she could collect her thoughts together. For a minute she had forgotten that she and Jacques had a lunch date today and he could appear any time from now, she really wasn't ready for another bout of awkwardness, was she? Things couldn't be any more awkward than they were, right?

Turns out she was right. Carter was back in his boyish charm and acting like everything was cool the moment he stepped into her office, his usual mantra on the tip of his tongue. Manda Panda.

Amanda chuckled, never tired of the nickname as she assessed the young man dressed in a clean cut dark blue suit who just strolled into her office and sank onto the gray couch, throwing a wink at her. Looks like he still had that way of doing things with ease around her. Well, just because they didn't work out as a couple didn't mean they couldn't still be great friends.

I see your affinity with the color grey still stands strong, Carter joked, his eyes darting around her sparsely decorated office, landing on every single piece of grey furniture.

It's not my fault I find every other color distracting, it's easier working in a space like this, Amanda explained, although she knew Carter was aware of the reason she had little to no colors in her offices.

I thought I'd drop by and say hi, I had a meeting in the area, Carter said, clearing her questions on the reasons he was there.

Amanda wrapped up what she was doing and shut down her system as she turned her full gaze on Carter, her hand unconsciously picking up the pen lying on her desk. That's really thoughtful of you, Carter.

Carter gave her his dimpled smile. I heard you moved in with Jacques.

    Yeah, Amanda said, smiling.

Carter gave a thoughtful nod and said, you must really love him then. You didn't even like staying over at my place for too long even though we dated for close to four years, so it's kind of surprising seeing you move in with another man in just a little over three months.

Amanda let out a tight-lipped chuckle, a part of her heard the silent accusation in Carter's tone and for a while, Amanda questioned all the decisions she ever made up to this point. Some things really do take us by surprise, she said.

If you're less busy, do you think maybe we can go grab a cup of coffee? He asked. There was a hint of fear in his tone as he asked that question.
